woman said in an encouraging tone.

The woman worked for the underground casino, and her name was Lulu. She was responsible for

He got up, walked toward the closet, and opened it up. James searched for a long time but could not
find the thing he had kept in the closet. He turned around and asked, “Darling, have you seen my wire
made of silver needles in the closet?”

Thea had already gotten up from bed.

She was puzzled for a moment but suddenly remembered something. She pointed to the balcony and
said, “The wire seemed really strong, so I thought I’d use it to hang out laundry. It’s out on the
balcony.”
