other choice now that James had caught up to them.

Meanwhile, Ezekiel looked at the First Blood Emperor, and the two nodded. Then, they went their separate ways

and hurriedly made their escape.

Lucjan cursed.

“Do you really think I’d be afraid of you?” Lucjan said coldly.

James glanced at the Blade of Justice before looking at Lucjan and said coldly, “Don’t say I didn’t give you a chance.

Lucjan’s face darkened, and he struck. His movement was as quick as lightning.

James dodged his attack with ease and struck him in the back. Lucjan staggered frontward and almost collapsed to

the ground.

James was now at the peak of the Fifth Stair and would soon cross over to the Sixth Stair. As such, his speed was

much greater than Lucjan’s, who was no longer a threat to him.

“That’s all you’ve got?”

James said nonchalantly.

“Darn it!”

After being struck, the Blood Energy inside Lucjan’s body churned.

Then, he turned and slashed with his sword. Immediately, materialized Sword Energy burst forth, which James

dodged with ease. Though Lucjan had used his full strength, he failed to injure James and was instead struck in the

back by him.

He came crashing down from the sky and slammed against a tree, which instantly snapped in half.
