Chapter 3457

Time was nothing to them.

They waited for a few decades.

Several decades passed in the outside world, but James spent 10,000 years in the Time Formation.

The energy in the area was abundant, and the Demonic Energy was especially potent. James' Elemental Inversion

Formation and Demonic Lotus continuously absorbed the Demonic Energy from the surroundings.

His Ousias kept growing stronger.

Except for his Dark Ousia and Sword Path Ousia, his other Ousias reached the Quasi Emperor Rank's Ninth

Tribulation and came very close to evolving into Path Seals.

However, James did not rush to evolve them and temporarily stopped cultivating.

He dispersed the Time Formation and reabsorbed the Five Elements of Genesis and the Demonic Lotus.

As soon as James stopped cultivating, Hadrian, Herbert, and Mia stood up instantly.

James glanced at them and asked. "How's the progress? Have you three managed to find a way to enter the city?”

The trio shook their heads.

Mia replied, "We've tried every possible way but couldn't enter the Dead City."

James rubbed his chin and said thoughtfully, 'This is strange. This should be a dangerous region. If a powerhouse

from the Londyn family disappeared without a trace while travelling here, then, we should theoretically be able to

advance further."

Mia nodded and said, 'That's right. This whole situation is perplexing. If it’s impossible to enter the city, then the

family member that went missing would've definitely turned around and returned home. However, we've never

heard from him again. It's as if he disappeared and ceased to exist."

James scanned the surroundings and said, 'There must be a way to enter the city, and we probably missed it. Let's

spread out and look for it."

After instructing everyone, James walked into the distance.

He found a place that had a full view Dead City. He leaped up into the air and examined the city ahead of him.

However, the black fog obscured the buildings within the city, and the only thing visible was the city gate.

James advanced closer, and the Dead City slowly became clearer with each step he took.

Soon, he could see half of the city's interior.

The buildings were ancient but extravagant.

James tried to get closer. However, he felt a resistance.

There seemed to be an invisible wall blocking his path. He reached out to push at the wall with all his strength but

nothing happened.

Then, he tried to use his power to attack the wall. Upon impact, the invisible wall gradually came into sight.

James looked at the wall and discovered that the wall was composed of mysterious inscriptions. The inscriptions

were like intricate lines, flickering around aimlessly.

"It's a barrier formation, just as I suspected," James murmured.

At that moment, the other three saw that James had made a discovery and hurried over to him.

"Did you find something, Mr. Caden?"

The three of them asked in unison.

James replied, "I found a barrier formation."

The trio looked toward the wall composed of countless inscriptions. However, they could not make out the meaning

of the inscriptions.

Mia asked, "What kind of scripts are these, Mr. Caden?"

James began observing them and found they were somewhat similar to Curse Inscriptions.

They were not exactly the same as Curse Inscriptions but showed similarities to them. Among every hundred

words, there was one that was similar to the words found in Curse Inscriptions.

"It's likely inscriptions from the Dark World."

James made a rough guess.

When he perfected the Dark Scripture after gaining inspiration from Curse Inscriptions, he speculated that Curse

Inscriptions originated from the Dark World.

Since the words that formed the barrier formation had something in common with Curse Inscriptions, he theorized

that they were also from the Dark World
