an excuse.” But Laney shook her head stubbornly.

“That‘s different. Ethan was also just a poor man, a bastard son of the Lester family. They were equals.

and headed straight to the bedroom. Seconds later, she came out with his luggage and threw it outside
the front door.

“Get out! I‘m only letting you live for the sake of our past friendship. But don‘t you dare show your face
