Chapter 1466 1459: Eyes Within the Board (2)

Atop the asteroid carried by a young dragon of the Horned-Firmament Azure Dragon lineage, Wei Wuyin received a message through the War Talisman. Within this message was a visual depiction of several lurking figures with demonic auras, including the increased restlessness of the Stellar Rain in the Stellar Nest.
Despite receiving the message, his mind was elsewhere as he was nose-deep in the most luscious place of the female body. With two trembling thighs on both sides of his head and the sensual, stimulating gasps and breathy moans in his ears, he was far too happily distracted to entertain the message.
"Haah! Mmm! Righ-Right there! MHM!
-----
Zhan You didn't receive a reply, so he kept on mission. As long as nothing or no one threatens the Outpost, he would simply observe the situation and take notes of any abnormal activity. Those demons, however, seemed to be gearing up for trouble though.
"We'll if they do anything, I'll just seize them all." After recalling his previously given orders, he closed his eyes and kept meditating. Just recently, his cultivation base had spontaneously jumped to the Worldly Saint level as if a particular restriction had been removed. For a Soldier of War like himself, cultivation was performed differently, and often related to his Chief Commander or the Owner of the War Talisman.
However, due to his unique circumstances, he naturally reached the Worldly Saint Phase with the smoothness of flowing water. It was as if he was destined to be a Worldly Saint from the beginning, grasping true Mystic World Intent. He even had two World Runes within him that perfectly melded with his Mystic World Intent in the most complete manner possible.
While he recalled his previous life, all of that no longer mattered to him on an existential level, only the aspects of cultivation. He was the Soldier of War, Zhan You; Xu You no longer existed.

Depths of the Stellar Nest. A silvery silhouette of a young woman floated within, her hair as luminous as moonlight and her bodily figure as peerless as an immortal fairy. With every breath of time that passed, watery Nascent Qi slowly entered her orifices. A gargantuan, violet-colored serpentine eye observed this figure from further downwards, acting as a watchful Guardian with a thoughtful glint within its sharp pupil.
-----
Grand Cyclic Stellar Region, Rainbow World Starfield. The single white Solar Star shone upon the seven planets within, each possessing an atmospheric hue representing the seven colors of the rainbow. At the edges of the starfield was a radiant rainbow veil that signified the Rainbow World Starfield's borders.
Despite its extreme beauty from afar, utterly breathtaking in terms of majestic colors and presence, there were hundreds of cultivators outside that were smashing heavily against the veil. Thunderous booms and temptations of power echoed out endlessly from within and beyond.
At the forefront of this assault was an Earthly Saint garbed in exquisite crimson robes. He was average in height with bright crimson eyes that mystically shifted from dark pupils resembling a crescent moon to a half moon, to a full moon endlessly. He gave off a strong alchemical aura. By his side were heavily armored cultivators in full plate wielding greatswords and they led the assault from afar, unleashing all sorts of terrifying attacks at the veil.
The greed within the crimson-robed Earthly Saint's eyes was almost tangible. "That's a True Radiance Star! IT'S MINE!!! Fellow cultivators, I'll reward you for your assistance! I assure you!"
His five Alchemic Knights were devastatingly fierce, each at the Earthly Saint level. They gave off a faintly incomplete feeling yet it did little to suppress their terrifying auras as they swung their greatswords and unleashed Sword Power that could sunder planets and split stars. The others nearby had been seeking their own opportunities but when pulled by a Crimson Moon Librarian from the Voyage Tower, especially since it was Librarian Peng Shi, otherwise known as Earth-Saint Crimsonstar or Alchemic Saint Crimsonstar!!
He was one of the few Earthly Saint Alchemists who resided within the Endless Voyage Realm in an official position. His wealth could not be underestimated.
On the surface of the Indigo Core, the planet with the Indigo hue, the sole Earthly Saint of the Rainbow World Starfield was standing in a luscious garden with mystic-graded herbs and flowers, exuding vibrant health and quality. Her eyes were focused on the invaders, entirely devoid of warmth.
"Lady Xia! Lady Xia!" A young girl stumbled into the garden in a panic. She was a petite little thing, cute to an extreme with twin pigtails and a floral dress, yet her expression was pale as she rushed over and seemingly found her pillar of support. When she arrived beside Xia Jia, she nearly tripped, barely catching herself in time, before trying to control her voice volume and said: "The Red Core Planet has experienced some damage from the shockwaves! The loss of lives it's..."
The Red Core Planet was almost directly beside the attackers and while the Rainbow Veil was a defensive formation, it wasn't able to withstand the attacks of hundreds of Ascended beings.
Despite Xia Jia looking as young as a sixteen-year-old woman, her eyes felt as if she was an ageless immortal who personally experienced the slaughter of millions of lives. It was downright frightening that the young girl, Hou Lan, paled heavily and her legs trembled.
"How troublesome," Xia Jia coldly muttered. She looked at Hou Lan, "Stay here." She began to walk forward, her aura faintly fluctuating and causing the herbs and flowers to tremble.
"Lady Xia!" Hou Lan exclaimed as she ran up pitifully, her eyes wet with concern. "What are you going to do? You absolutely can't be reckless, Lady Xia! Please!" As if pulling out all of her courage, the young girl who was also Xia Jia's maidservant, asked and begged with terrified eyes. As an observer, she seemed incredibly worried about her master.
Xia Jia stopped, looking toward Hou Lan with a gentle smile that was rather innocent. This was typical Hou Lan, and her heart warmed at the sight. "Everything will be fine, I'm just going to reason with them and have them return those lost lives. I'll be right back, okay?" After saying that with a consoling and warm tone, she turned into a ray of rainbow light, piercing through the sky and heading toward the invaders.
When she left the atmospheric layer and was halfway toward the invaders, Hou Lan's breathy and shaken appearance slowly changed. Her sweaty palms cleared up, her panic was immediately eradicated as if it never existed, and her eyes were utterly indifferent as she eyed the comet that was Xia Jia. Her entire aura changed.
"Timely distraction. Time to get to work," the young girl named Hou Lan stretched out as she made her way toward the center of the garden. The formations placed within ignored her as if she were a harmless herb, her presence went entirely unnoticed and she waltzed right on through with a whistle.
"I'll finally be done," when the young girl arrived at the core of the garden's formation, she took out a grey rhombus crystal. Then, she dropped it. The crystal merged into the garden's floor as if it were a raindrop entering the ocean, disappearing instantly. The garden was the central formation that controlled the planetary array. Additionally, it was interconnected with the starfield-wide array that extended across the seven planets and white Solar Star.
"I've done the other six, but she just never leaves this godforsaken garden with her true body. Well, whatever. Screw her. Screw this entire place. Time to leave." Hou Lan put her finger into her throat, sending a wisp of energy within, and reached violently. This happened a few times before a ring left her throat and into her hands. It glistened with a void light. A modified Saint Ring!
"SCREW YOU ALL! Especially this arrogant little bitch, I can finally kill you." After saying this with hatred, he brought out a body from the Saint Ring. And then mercilessly stomped the head of the body, spraying its brains and skull all over the garden. If one looked closely, before the body's head was crushed, the human was a replica of Hou Lan who was standing upright with a bloody shoe!
"HAHA!" After venting out all her feelings, 'Hou Lan' laughed with great satisfaction on her face. It was twisted with madness as the body dissipated into dust without any evidence of its death. Not even a Worldly Saint would be able to find out what happened.
Suddenly, his expression changed as he stopped laughing. "I wonder how Xia Yurou is doing?" 'Hou Lan' pouted, and then no longer delayed. 'Hou Lan' tapped into the Void Formation inside the Saint Ring and abruptly VANISHED!
-----
Born True Starfield, Unchained Heart Sect. "So it's happening. Is this a prelude to the All-Ending Stellar Calamity? The descent of the Endless Voyage Realm? How amusing. How will you handle all this, little monster?" The violet-robed leader calmly commented as he observed it all through his oval mirror. The ongoing incursion of the Grand Cyclic Stellar Region was quite intense as fighting had begun all over. There were simply far too many valuable resources out in the open that were far too good to ignore.
For example, the True Radiance Star of the Rainbow World Starfield. Due to an agreement with the Aeternal Sky Divine Emperor, Xia Jia could foster such a precious treasure without worrying, but it was so valuable that Worldly Saints with grand aspirations to enter the Heavenly Saint Phase would go to outright war!
Or the Vermillion Graveyard of the Tang Clan which contains the remnants of those legendary beasts.
Or the planet Neo-Origin that was reforged by Ascendant Emperor Wei Wuyin after his Realm World Tribulation, which instilled the planet with rich Elemental Origin Intent and granted it the ability to give birth to pure Elemental Origin Essence and various apex-level Elemental Energies, Heavenly Waters, and Earthly Treasures.
There were simply too many things that could, at a mere glance, be determined as invaluable. It was no different than a hillbilly with a house of gold in the boons and foreigners arriving to see it! A bloody invasion was to be expected!
"Where are the Worldly Saints? I expected Liu Yinlan to be unable to hold back. Tian Taizong is about to suffer." The Trueborn leader asked absentmindedly, unable to find them. As they did so, a figure emerged on the oval mirror. The violet-robed leader looked up as if by instinct, and their eyes shrunk considerably as a face with divine majesty of the sky was shown.
"How are you free?!" The violet-robed leader rushed toward the mirror, their hands were milky white and delicately feminine with black painted nails, and they heavily pressed it against the mirror. Suddenly, the mirror malfunctioned as Tian Taizong's gaze shifted. It went completely black and reflected the leader's reflection.
An average-looking woman with thick eyebrows, slender lips, a sharp, pointy chin with two sparkling eyes with sinisterly dark pupils that resembled stars, looking extremely shaken and surprised.
"This is problematic..."
