Chapter 1573 Gathering At The God's Tomb
Chapter 1573 Gathering At The God's Tomb
The group went into seclusion after apprehending the lady.
Grey started his experiment with the lady, searching for ways to track Necromancers, even those that hide in plain sight. The lady was the perfect subject for this experiment since she was one of these people.
Alice and the others decided to stay away from the world as well as they all tried to benefit from the battle with the lady.
While the group went into seclusion, most of the top powerhouses had started to move towards the place they were supposed to gather before entering the God's tomb. Most of the Sovereigns in the Aurora Continent were later informed about the trip to the God's tomb and the possibility it holds.
They knew the majority of the Sovereigns would want to try at the chance of such an opportunity.
The number of people waiting outside the entrance to the God's tomb increased as the day went by. Most of the experts from the top Factions and Families hadn't arrived yet, hence the others were waiting for them.
The top Factions and Families were setting things up before their return from this journey.
Two weeks went by and most of the top Factions and Families were gathered there, even the Dawson Family were already present.
Grey was with his father in the Dawson Family, this was the only way people would know of him heading into the God's tomb. His father ensured there would be an escape route for the group.
Grey and his friends headed to their respective Factions, coming to the gathering with them.
"It's been three weeks, what's holding them back?" Klaus complained while the group sat away from the gathering.
"I have no idea, my dad says once these guys get here they will open the portal leading to the God's tomb." Grey didn't know which people they were waiting for.
"How many have you located?" Alice asked.
"Twelve." Grey replied.
"There can be hundreds of Gnomes in these people." Reynolds said.
"Since they're here, they are definitely filled." Grey said.
"What about the Necromancers hiding?" Reynolds asked.
Before they came here, Grey was able to complete his experiment before killing the lady. So they knew he could sense Necromancers in this gathering.
"At least two hundred, including the vessels." Grey replied.
"That's a lot." Klaus said.
"Yeah, but my father is just above the Peak of the Sovereign Plane, he should be able to deal with them." Grey didn't worry about this matter.
From the hiding Necromancers present, he hasn't sensed the presence of a Peak Sovereign yet, so didn't think there was anything to worry about.
"How can you prove they are Necromancers so we wouldn't provoke some top Factions?" Alice asked.
"We're still thinking about it." Grey replied honestly. He didn't know how his father had in mind to deal with the consequences of killing these people without sufficient evidence.
"I guess we'll only be able to find out when we get there." Klaus said.
The group didn't know what would happen, but Grey assured them that his father had a way to handle the matter and he believed it.
The group didn't speak about it any further and focused on what they might possibly encounter in this place.
A few more days went by before the last group they were waiting for arrived. It was the number Faction in the Aurora Continent that has the strongest Elementalist in the entirety of the Aurora Continent.
Grey examined the group arriving and saw a familiar figure, it was the young lady he helped when he went to the secret realm that connected to the Gnome world.
"Oh, no wonder they were so nice." Grey recalled the attitude of the Burchard Family when they asked for his help in the secret realm.
The young lady saw Grey, and seeing his face, a look of surprise appeared on her face.
Grey's father was one of the people who opened it and following his instructions before he left, Grey was able to find their escape route. For a better chance at killing each vessel and Necromancer, Grey asked his father to make the portal into the God's tomb a random one. As long as everyone doesn't appear on the same spot, most of the vessels and Necromancers can be dealt with.
Grey didn't take more than a glance before focusing on other things. He thought about the vessel he handed over to his mother. According to his mother, she was kept somewhere her essence would be sealed. There was no way to escape from the place without the blood essence of the person that kept you there.
Grey thought about the other vessels as well and a majority of them were willing to become a vessel.
He didn't speak with anyone other than his friends before the opening of the portal started.
Grey could locate them since he has marked them. All he needed to do was locate his father and gather his friends in the process they track down every vessel and Necromancer in the place. No matter what the length of the place, he was sure he could locate them.
The process of opening the portal took a while, and sustaining it was also very hard.
With the portal open, each group of people that came to this place started to go into the portal, they didn't have any idea of the randomization of the portal, so they all felt they could group together.
Grey's friends went in before he did, as he walked towards the portal, he looked at his father before stepping in.
A few minutes later, all of the groups present were inside and only the top experts in the Aurora Continent were left, those above the Peak of the Sovereign Plane.
"Do you think it will draw them there?" One of the peak experts asked.
"Of course, they can invade our world, but we can also enter theirs. Knowing we can destroy their world just as fast as they can, they wouldn't want to take the risk."
