Katherine saw Davis mumbling about something as he looked over at the ton of scrolls he had written himself. He seemed to be verifying his findings and unifying his insights, all the while having her seated on the bed and waiting. She could only look at him and wonder how amazing he was to be this serious when it came to doing something that she also wanted to learn from him.
That's why she had volunteered to help and become a test subject. She felt guilty about spending all her time playing around with the children, but with this experience, she finally felt she could be of some use.
She also couldn't help but feel excited.
It was finally time. Her core, which had been experimented on a lot, was already showing signs of change— perhaps breaking down and collapsing from the inside. All Davis had to do was complete the last step. She knew she might die again or join the ranks of a Grand Saint Magical Beast, making her wonder what kind of lion she would become.

Davis uttered words of encouragement before he brought his hands to her head and began casting his life energy on her. At the same time, karmic energy also began overflowing from his palms.
