like that? Haven't I helped my best friend, your mother, enough? If it wasn't because I've such a lousy

Ivy slowly composed herself.
Wiping away the tears on her face, she looked at Mrs. Shelby and said, "Mrs. Shelby, the dead are

want to live in the present and take good care of my child. If you really care about my mother as her
friend, please, would you just let me free..."
Fuming, Mrs. Shelby slapped Ivy on her face again. "You useless piece of rag! If I were your mother, I’d
