“You’re getting tired of me so soon?” His dark eyes stared at her with a hint of resentment.

Gwendolyn suppressed a laugh and held his face with both hands. “I was just teasing you.” After she
spoke, she leaned forward and deepened the kiss from earlier.

Overwhelmed by the kiss, Cedrick felt his whole body go weak. He leaned into her embrace and rested
his head on her belly. “Darling, you’re way too alluring…”

Just one kiss and Cedrick was already feeling overcome with desire. When will I be able to enjoy more
intimate moments with my Gwenny?

Gwendolyn could guess what he was thinking. She gently caressed his chin and grinned while pressing
her lips into a thin line.



Allowing him to indulge for a few more minutes, she suddenly remembered the matter at hand.
“Weren’t you in the middle of a video meeting? Are you done with it?”

Cedrick snapped back to reality in an instant. “Oh, the meeting!”

He almost forgot about it.

After picking Benedict up, he immediately returned downstairs.

While staring at his back, Gwendolyn shook her head resignedly.

As evening approached, Nico came to the house, bringing news about Gina. “Gwendolyn, we have
thoroughly investigated Gina. She’s indeed the real Gina. There’s nothing wrong with her.”
