Now there was only one more person at the Second Passage Stage left. It was the middle-aged man who had ordered the people to kill Long Chen. The man’s face was pale and he was running with all his might.
Who is he? Why is he so strong? Curse my mouth! I should’ve kept quiet instead of provoking people without any reason. I need to change my habits if I get out alive!
Just then, he heard people shouting.
Long Chen had just killed the fourth person when he saw that the man was already quite a distance away. Rather than chasing that man, Long Chen threw the Demon Emperor Sword with all his might towards the man’s back.

Long Chen ran over and picked up the sword.He wiped off the blood and put the sword back in his Primordial Realm. He then looked around and saw that the people from the Martial Alliance were mostly gone. Many of the newcomers had fled back home using the Universal Transporter as well. The remaining few realized that running was the best option as well.
Long Chen sighed when he looked at the corpses on the ground.
I have been stressed out since Ling Xi left me. That’s why I decided to kill them today. Even though I felt relieved after releasing some stress, will I truly become a killing machine one day?
Long Chen pondered about his future.
But he didn’t want to stay here for long, or the experts of the Martial Realm would reach this place. A young man, roughly twenty years old, walked out. He wore elegant white robes with black borders and had numerous pieces of jewelry hanging from his body. He smiled and approached Long Chen in a surprisingly feminine gait.
Is he the young master of a family in the Divine Martial Empire?
Long Chen didn’t want to act rashly, especially when he didn’t know the person’s background and strength. “Who are you? Why are you following me?”
“Please don’t misunderstand. I meant no harm. I was thinking about how to approach you without offending you, but you unexpectedly found me first,” the man said politely.
“What do you want?” Long Chen did not let his guard down.
“My name is Jiang Cheng. I bear no ill will and just want to be your friend. May I know your name?”
“No. Just tell me what you want.” It was not a good thing to be tailed by someone, so Long Chen was extra careful. He took a few steps back and distanced himself from Jiang Cheng.
Jiang Cheng smiled bitterly upon seeing that Long Chen was distancing himself. “I heard the sounds of fighting and went over to the Universal Teleporter. I saw how you massacred the people and was impressed by your strength. That’s why I wanted to befriend you. I’m sorry if it was very abrupt.”
Long Chen lowered his tone after seeing how straightforward the man was. “You could’ve just come up to me if you wanted to befriend me. It’s not a good thing to tail someone for so long.”
