“You don’t say.” Qiao Mei felt in a better mood when she heard this. She really hated He Ning, but now that they were both on the same plane, she could not disembark just because He Ning was sitting next to her.
Along the way, Qiao Mei did not speak to He Ning. He did not look at the documents in his hand and kept trying his best to talk to the three children. Xia Fan kept a cold expression on his face. Anyway, he was more curious about the world outside the plane window. Xia Xing held up a book on fairy tales and patiently read Xia Yue a story while Xia Yue babbled and repeated what his elder sister said.
Xia Xing did not read the story word for word. She would say whatever came to her mind. For example, she told a story of how the Sleeping Beauty was poisoned after eating Snow White’s apple and was eventually woken up by a kiss from the Frog Prince. Although the story was complicated and the characters were unrelated, it still managed to make sense.
“This child might have a talent for writing. I know a veteran author in the capital. If you want, I can introduce Xia Xing to him,” He Ning said as he looked at Qiao Mei seriously.
Qiao Mei was silent for a moment before saying, “This child is only five years old and doesn’t even know how to write. I’m the top scorer of the college entrance examination in the capital. At her current age, is there anything I can’t teach her? Let’s talk about it after she knows how to write.”
He Ning smiled. Qiao Mei was still as outstanding and confident as ever. This was probably why he was obsessed with having her by his side.
After arriving in Country M, Qiao Mei got off the plane with the children. This flight had landed at the airport near the small town. As Xia Wen had arranged for them to get seats on this plane through his connections, Luo Yu and the others could not take the same flight as them. They could only board a commercial flight to Country M a few days later, so the Gao family’s security team would need to take care of her for the next few days.

This was the first time Qiao Mei had met Gao He. She asked curiously, “Your surname is also Gao? Then are you related to my uncle?”
