Sherry came out from the bathroom with John and Caprice.
The leftovers and the plates on the table were kept away, and so was the grill outside the corridor. All
that was left in the front yard was a layer of snow.
Caprice wanted to play, so Sherry held the girl’s hand and had fun in the front yard for a while.
After playing for a while, Sherry brought the girl inside, fed her dinner, and continued playing in her
room.
Later that night, Sherry read the girl a few more stories before putting her to bed.
Sherry then washed up and changed into her pajamas before she lay back down beside Caprice.
As soon as she settled down, a towering figure came in from the door. The man wore blue satin
pajamas but had intentionally left a few buttons open.
Sherry’s eyes gleamed.
John curved his lips at her. His handsome face looked extremely gentle yet bewitching with his smile.
Sherry’s heart raced. She quickly turned away and closed her eyes. The man was trying to seduce her
with his looks. She must resist it! She could not fall for the temptation!
John captured every movement on her body. He went to the bed and lay down beside Caprice as
always.
The lights were switched off and the room returned to silence.He propped his head on one hand and stared at the woman’s back through the little girl in the center.
The woman did not move a muscle. She only turned around when she truly fell asleep.
John sighed and pursed his lips.
The woman was obviously interested in his body, and given her personality, she would have jumped on
him already after multiple seduction attempts. What made her hold her urge back?

A set of footsteps appeared in the snowy garden outside, leading all the way to the back.
Mia had been in hiding for a while now, and her hands and legs were already freezing. She was finally
able to leave the premises through the huge seam on the wall.
She quickly made her way back to Julie’s place.
The lights in the living room were still on, and Julie was waiting for Mia’s return on the couch.
“Madam!” Mia said with a smile as soon as she walked in.
Julie smiled at her and asked, “Did they do it?”
Mia said, “I squatted outside the window for two hours but didn’t hear anything. I’m sure they are not
having sex.”
“Did they talk then?”
A quick thought later, Mia said, “I don’t think so. When I arrived, Sherry was telling Ms. Caprice a story.
After Ms. Caprice fell asleep, Sherry went out and came back, then Master Stockton came in.“The lights were switched off after that and they fell asleep. I came back after that and didn’t hear
anything.”
Julie grinned. “Thank you for your effort. But I might need you to go spy on them for a few more days.”
Mia smiled back. “It’s my duty, Madam. I am here to lessen your burden.”
Julie said. “You can go rest now.”
“Thank you, Madam. You should rest early too.” Mia bowed and left, leaving Julie alone in the spacious
house.
When the door closed, Julie got up and went back to her room. Her room was clean and minimalistic.
There were only a few necessary pieces of furniture and no extra or glamorous decorations were in
sight.
She headed straight to the closet.
The closet was just a small room of few square meters wide but behind the curtain was a door instead
of a cupboard.
She went into the hidden room and switched on the lights. The warm light shed its brightness over the
tight space and revealed pictures pasted on the walls.
