“You dated her because she looks like Daisie, so you took her in as a substitute. She now holds a grudge
against you, and in order to retaliate against you, she got herself into Tenet on purpose, wanted Charlie
to take her under him, and even exploited Daisie’s fame for her own marketing.
“All these actions seem very provocative, so no matter if she’s trying to provoke you or Daisie, there must
always be a reason behind her actions.”
Zephir put down the teapot and looked up. “What exactly do you want?”
Nollace scoffed. “Daisie is now pregnant, so I don’t want her to be dragged into this mess. Besides, this
is a matter between you and her. You’re the one who let the demon into the house, so shouldn’t you be
the one who cleans this mess up?”
Nollace had already seen through everything.
‘It’s obvious that Roxy is doing so because of Zephir.
Zephir dumped her, and she’s not reconciled to being Daisie’s substitute by Zephir and getting dumped
in the end. She’s a woman who has a handful of ulterior motives, so would she let this go so easily?
“However, this is a matter between them. I won’t stand idly by the side when Daisie, who’s innocent, gets
dragged into the center of this turmoil.’After Nollace left, Zephir called Roxy. “What did you tell Nollace Knowles before this?”
On the other end of the call, Roxy froze.

She bit her lip. “What else can I say? I’m only giving him the truth. Did you just call me to question me?
Zephir Gosling, just how heartless can you be?”
“Roxy Van Damme, I’m warning you for the very last time. You’d better not get Daisie involved in our
affairs.”
“Since when did I get her involved? I only got myself into Tenet, and that’s it. What’s the matter? Does
this upset you?” Roxy scoffed. “Zephir, I told you that you won’t get to dump me so easily. If you really
worry that I might do something that harms Daisie, I would marry me if I were you.”
Zephir’s expression turned gloomy. “You want me to marry you? You’re nowhere near worthy of my
hand.”
He then hung up the phone.
Roxy was so exasperated that she threw her phone on the bed.
‘I’m not worthy of you? Hmph! Sooner or later, you’ll be forced to marry me even if you don’t want to do
so!
In the chairman’s office of Tenet…

Jaylon took a deep breath and warned him. “I don’t care how much you and your business partners want
Roxy to rise to popularity, but Nollace has spoken. She’s no longer allowed to use Daisie’s reputation for
marketing her debut. Lastly, if you do anything else that will drag Tenet’s reputation through the mud ever
again, don’t blame me for not treating you like a brother-in-law.
