his shoulder. “I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.”
He smiled at her but did not say anything.
Soon, it was the end of the month. Their vacation had come to an end, and they returned to Bassburgh
Maisie and Nolan were waiting for them in the courtyard. After getting out of the car, Daisie ran up to
them. “Mommy! Daddy!”
She hugged both of them.
Nolan petted her head and smiled helplessly. “You’re an adult now You should stop acting like a kid.”
She smiled back at them and said, “But I know I’ll always be your kid in your eyes.”
Maisie chuckled and looked at the other people. “It seems like you guys had a lot of fun. Anyway, come
in first. We should eat together tonight.”
Freyja and Cameron went to look for their kids after they went into the house. Charm and her two
cousins were staying in the same room. All of them were sleeping soundly, and they found the scene
eye- appealing.
Colton and Waylon went out to do something while Nollace was playing chess with Nolan in the living
room.
“Dad, thank you for letting me win this round.”Nolan looked at the chessboard for a while and placed the piece back. “I don’t need you to tell me that

Maisie, who was cutting the fruit in the kitchen, looked at them. After that, she turned to look at Daisie,
who was making coffee, and said, “Your wedding is around the corner, so I’ve prepared a surprise gift for
you.”

Maisie chuckled. “If you can guess it, then it isn’t a surprise anymore.”
Daisie pressed her lips and fell into deep thought Suddenly, she asked, “Mom, I have a question for you.
Did you feel nervous during your wedding?”
“Of course, I was,” replied Maisie. “I couldn’t even sleep the night before.”
Daisie chuckled. “Was it because you were looking forward to it?”
Maisie placed the fruits on a plate and said, “I’m truly happy that all three of you have formed your own
families. At the very least, I know that my children are having a happy life.”
Daisie picked a piece of orange and popped it into her mouth. A big smile appeared on her face as she
said, “It’s sweet”

Colton returned to the house. The butler took over the ingredients from them and ordered the maids to
prepare dinner
After the dinner was ready, all of them sat around the table and enjoyed their dinner happily Maisie
raised her glass and said, “Let’s celebrate Daisie and Nollace’s upcoming wedding in advance today”
All of them raised their glasses into the air and clinked. After they drank the wine, Waylon put the glass
down and said, “Our sister will be the future princess from now onward.”
Daisie was embarrassed. “Even if I’m the princess, I’m still your dearest younger sister”
Colton looked at her and said, “Can we drop the dearest? It disgusts me.”
Daisie was rendered speechless.
Apparently, her status in Colton’s heart was falling lower and lower after he was married.
Nollace popped a piece of meat into her mouth and comforted her. “It’s okay. You’ll always be my
sweetheart.”
Daisie broke into a smile and said, “You’re the best, Nolly.”
Colton narrowed his eyes and commented, “Can you guys stop doing that in front of everyone?”
“You can do that as well with Freyja if you want,” replied Nollace.
