Elisa was aware of Linda's disguise, so she wouldn't possibly fall into her trap. However, it
didn't make sense that her phone was now with Linda.
"Ask her to call me back," Gareth uttered coldly. Linda was hurt by his disdainful, arrogant
attitude. He didn't even bother to ask her to pass a message. As such, she thought Gareth
might have suspected her.
"Wait a minute. She's back." Linda passed the phone to Elisa.
Elisa knew the call had affected Linda. She instantly took over the phone and asked Gareth,
"What is it?"
Gareth asked, "What's going on?"
Elisa replied indifferently, "I walked away to answer nature's call and passed my bag to Melinda
in a hurry. I'll only leave after the banquet ends. You can go home first."
