He smiled at Elisa. "Let me drive! How can I let you drive while hitching a ride from you? Leave it to
me!"

Elisa frowned. She went to the backseat because it was closer to the driver's seat. She hadn't planned

managing Tabor Group for the past few years and has the best business tips and tricks. She will never
waste her time on someone that doesn't benefit her. Why would Nicole meet you without good
reason?"
Elisa's lashes trembled slightly. Yes. Vincent is right. Nicole isn't the type of person who wastes her
time on someone without cause.
How could she not know what Nicole's intentions were? But Nicole might not necessarily believe her if
she said too much, and she didn't want to waste her time.
Elisa opened her eyes and saw that Vincent was still waiting for her reply. Her lips twitched. "Why else
do you think she came looking for me?"

and spoke to Gareth distantly. "I've always admired your swift and decisive reactions as well as
business tips and tricks, Mr. Wickam. But please manage your personal life well. Don't involve other
people."
What she meant was clear. She didn't want Gareth constantly disturbing her and tried to draw a line
between them. What he and Nicole did had nothing to do with her, as long as she wasn't involved!
Gareth laughed in his rage at Elisa's words.

Gareth's sharp gaze fell on Elisa's delicate face. He noticed she had shut her eyes and didn't want to
speak to him. He raised his hand abruptly and cupped her lower jaw in his thick palm.
The pain made Elisa open her eyes in an instant. She tried to back away, but there was nowhere to go.
She furrowed her brows tightly and grabbed his arm, muttering irritably, "Gareth, what are you doing?!"
