Wesley’s words were like cannonballs, hitting Catherine’s head one after another.

Shaun had done something illegal. She never consented to any of it.

People ought to be sentenced if they broke the law, right?

Even if Shaun went to jail and Hill Corporation fell, it had nothing to do with her.

“Cathy, I understand that it’s hard for you to mention such things to the police, but it’s hard for me too, ”
Wesley said bitterly, “But we can face it together in the future. I, Wesley Lyons, will never give up on
you.”

The more he spoke, the guiltier Catherine felt.

The helicopter landed on the Yule residence’s lawn. Both Joel and Lucas had been waiting there for a
long time.
