discuss Eliza?”

Monte said sarcastically, “Eliza was willing to donate a billion dollars. What about you guys? You guys
can’t even bear to give your wives tens of millions of dollars.”

After speaking, he ignored them.

He turned around with his hand in his pocket and left with a cold expression.



After walking a distance, Monte’s phone rang. It was his fiancee, Lillian Tanner, who called. “Monte,
there’s a necklace designed by the renowned jewelry designer, Jame, in the charity event your hotel is
holding tonight. Help me win the auction of that necklace.”

“Didn’t you just bid for a similar necklace last month?” Monte frowned.

“I like it. It’s none of your business,” Lillian said with a dainty hmph. “Just buy it for me.”

“Okay.”

After hanging up, Monte felt a slight annoyance.

He did not mind women spending money, but Lillian was spending too lavishly.



“Get some information on Jame’s necklace,” Monte turned his head and spoke to his assistant.

“It’ll take at least seven million dollars to win the auction of that necklace.” The assistant frowned. “You
just bought a similar one for Young Lady Tanner last month. You also gave her an eight million dollar
bracelet as a present the month before. Young Master Patterson, although you’re rich, if you keep
