: Maurice Was Giving Him A Hard Time

Before long, the Maserati stopped in front of Eliana's house.

She habitually looked up and found that the house was brightly lit up.

It seemed as though the warm light helped to dispel the coldness of the late night.

Back home, Nana collapsed onto the sofa.

Eliana looked around the beautifully decorated house and then walked towards the bathroom.

Adrian and Aileen were squatting down side by side at the door, staring at a white puppy in the
bathroom.

Adrian was the first to notice that they were being watched and as soon as he turned around, he saw
Eliana squatting down with her arms around her knees.

"Mommy!"



He smiled from ear to ear.

Aileen immediately jumped up as soon as she heard Adrian, and she threw herself into Eliana’s arms
like a spoiled child.

Adrian asked worriedly, "Mommy, when is the ring going to come out?"

"We've been waiting for a long time, but it doesn't look like the puppy is going to poop any time soon."

Aileen pouted her lips at Eliana.




"Well, we need to be patient.Just wait and see."

Eliana patted their heads, smiling in amusement.

In truth, she wanted the ring to come out as soon as possible so that she could give it back to Preston.

Therefore, all three of them laid their expectant eyes on the puppy at the same time.

The innocent little puppy tilted its head, not knowing what the three of them wanted from it.

Unfortunately, it was getting late, so Eliana coaxed the children back to their room for sleep.

After she washed her face and rinsed her mouth, she caught Aileen trying to sneak back into the living
room to play with her tablet on the sofa.

Eliana immediately said, "Aileen, why aren't you in bed?"

"Mommy, do you want to see the photos I took of the puppy?"

Aileen looked at Eliana with doe-eyes as she showed her the screen with a big grin on her face.

She had taken multiple photos of the puppy with various filters and angles.

The puppy looked more like a ball of cotton than an animal.

In her excitement, Aileen accidentally clicked the necklace design draft Eliana had drawn.Her eyes lit
up.

"What a beautiful necklace!"

With a doting smile, Eliana picked her up in her arms and said, "It's time to sleep.Let's look at it some
other day, okay?"



"Just wait a minute," said Aileen sweetly.

"What else do you want to do?" Eliana asked exasperatedly.

Aileen jumped out of her arms and took out paper and crayons from a drawer on the tea table.

"I want to draw a necklace too.I'm going to give it to you, Mommy!"

Eliana was amused by the little girl's enthusiasm and she couldn't help laughing.

Aileen turned her back to Eliana and said, "Don't look at it until 1 finish drawing."

"Okay," said Eliana.

Within a few minutes, the little girl had managed to come up with a drawing.

Aileen excitedly handed the paper to Eliana and asked, "Do you like it, Mommy?"

As soon as Eliana looked at the drawing, her eyes widened in amazement.

Although the brushwork was childish, the design of the necklace was actually quite ingenious.

Instead of placing the diamond in the middle, Aileen placed it on the side.

The design was unique and eye-catching.

"Honey, this is more beautiful than my design," Eliana sighed from the bottom of her heart.

"Aileen is truly gifted."

Aileen giggled, covering her mouth shyly.



The next day, Eliana went to the company with Aileen's drawing.She walked to Bradly's office and
knocked on the door.

"Come in," said Bradly in a hoarse voice.

When Eliana pushed the door open and walked in, Bradly looked pale and the dark circles under his
eyes suggested that he hadn't slept last night.

"Bradly, are you sick?"

"No."

Bradly rubbed his temples and it was clear to see that he was exhausted.

"I stayed up all night to read the documents."

Corbin dumped a bunch of documents on him last night, but after spending hours reading everything,
Bradly found that none of the information was actually helpful for designing the pink diamond necklace.

In fact, he almost believed that Maurice was deliberately giving him a hard time to teach him a lesson.

Thinking of what had happened yesterday, Bradly frowned and looked at Eliana.

"Do you know that Mr.Moran..."

Before he could finish his words, Eliana cut him short and said, °I have good news! I have a new
design idea!"

Eliana handed Aileen’s picture to Bradly.

"Have a look at this."



"Whose child drew this?"

Eliana paused to think and then lied, concealing Aileen’s identity.

"My neighbor's."

"I've gotten to say, the child has a knack for design," Bradly sighed with a smile.

Just then, Rachel came over with a cup of coffee.

As soon as she arrived at the door of the office, she heard Eliana's chuckle.Her heart sank in an
instant.

She looked at the two people chatting and laughing in the office, and the jealousy in her heart grew,
spreading like wildfire inside her body.

Almost immediately, Rachel was overwhelmed by anger.

‘Well, Eliana, soon you won't be laughing anymore.."
