Gerald sneered, “It’s not your wife. It’s you.”

Asher broke into cold sweat, fear gripping his heart. “What do you mean by that, Mr. Moran?”

Gerald took his time to reply. He said nothing and sank into the sofa, making himself at home.

“Don’t be so nervous. I just have a small question for you.”

Asher, however, felt nothing but nervousness. He hastily wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and
said with a wry smile, “I’ll tell you everything I know, Mr. Moran.”

“Very well. I knew Eliana is your ex-girlfriend. I came here today just to ask you this one thing: Who’s
the father of her children?”

Gerald’s question momentarily stunned Asher. Immediately after, he fell into panic.
