The next second, Harriet fell into Maurice’s arms.

“I’m sorry, Mr. Moran!” Harriet said in a hurry, looking up at Maurice with her hands resting against his
chest for support. “I couldn’t maintain my balance. I guess I was a little dizzy after riding for such a long
time.”

If it weren’t for the fact that her whole body was basically pressed against Maurice, her apology would
have sounded more sincere.

As she spoke, she flipped back her hair which was disheveled by the wind while riding, deliberately
