They chatted for a while before Armand told Amanda to head back into the house to eat. She was
going to be late for school if she dawdled any longer. He then talked to Genevieve briefly before
hanging up.

After Lucian and Amanda packed their bags, Armand sent them to school.



He dropped them at the school and drove away. Amanda's brows were scrunched up as she walked
into the school grounds with Lucian. “Lucian, something seems off to me.”

was on a business trip. Aunt Jojo said she went on a business trip too, but she still isn't back after so
long.”
