Evangeline hesitated before continuing, “Mr. Faulkner has many subordinates working under him, and I
loaned some men from Mr. Foster in Dartan before coming to Lostaria as well.”

Evangeline had heard of Dartan's Mr. Foster, but she didn't expect Genevieve to hold such power.

She had a formidable husband and assistance from Mr. Foster.

“I know Mr. Alston wants to get rid of Zephyr, so I'll tell him where the gold is.” Genevieve poured
Evangeline a cup of coffee. “The Carlo family only cares about money and would fall in Mr. Alston's
hands once Zephyr and his goons are out of the picture.”

She glanced at Evangeline and continued, “Even if you grovel to Zephyr, he will still wipe out the
Sheraton family.”



Evangeline stared at her coffee cup for a long moment before raising her head to meet Genevieve's
