Chapter 146 - I Trust That You Have Been Well
Chapter 146: I Trust That You Have Been Well
Anyone with an ounce of sense wouldn’t choose to go against Yu Shijin in Green City.
In the end, Apollo gave in.
He glanced at Yu Shijin before leading his own team back into their cars and driving away from the borders of Green City.
Even after those people left, Yu Shijin remained standing there, cold and aloof.
“Master Yu, are you leaving tonight?” Chief detective asked respectfully as he kept his gun.
Yu Shijin turned and gave a chilly nod.
The air was heavy with silence.
At this moment, Yu Shijin’s cell phone rang. He accepted the call.
It was the Yu Family butler. “The Yu Family is very displeased with how you forcibly sent Ms Dugu back to the International Association. They want you to… personally come back and apologize to Madam Dugu.”
“Apologize?” Yu Shijin’s eyes were frosty, his voice even more so. “Just as well, I also have some accounts to settle with them.”
He hung up the phone before opening the car door.
As if he suddenly thought of something, he lifted his eyes slightly toward the chief detective. “Be careful during this period of time.”
Chief detective was shocked.
Master Yu seldom behaved in such a grave manner. He raised his brows in wonder. “Is something about to happen?”
How come he hadn’t received any news?
The spies implanted by the Dark Angels had already been more or less all rooted out by Yu Shijin. Apart from the sudden appearance of Apollo, chief detective couldn’t think of any other problem.
Yu Shijin started the car, his entire body shrouded in a cold, quiet fog. He smirked, “Many people are targeting Green City. Don’t get entangled with them. Inform me if anything crops up, or go find Xuning.”
The car gradually disappeared into the night.

Meanwhile, Su Huiqing had already arrived at the storage location with the Su Family escort guards.
Earlier in the evening, Su Chu and team had suffered a terrible thrashing by Su Huiqing.
But in just a few hours, their injuries had more or less recovered.
Everyone knew it was thanks to the mid-grade potion which Su Huiqing had given them.
They started to look at Su Huiqing with respect and awe.
“Miss, what is this place?” Su Chu couldn’t help asking.
Su Huiqing had led them out of Green City into a mountain area.
“We are going to transport a little something.” Su Huiqing smirked. She took out a bunch of keys and opened the doors to a discarded storage container.
In the next second…
When the doors were thrown open…
Everyone could clearly see the items stored inside the container. Their eyes widened in shock.
“Damn… this is a ‘little something’?” Someone spoke up in a daze.
The others remained dumbstruck.
They thought Su Huiqing’s so-called “little something” was just some normal goods. They never expected…
It was a room full of military firearms!
Su Chu couldn’t help rubbing his face. He suspected that he might be dreaming. These didn’t look like your normal firearms either. They looked very high-tech.
But how did these firearms end up here?
In other words, how did Su Huiqing come into possession of such things?!
Su Huiqing remained impassive. These firearms were nothing in her eyes. She was used to handling such things, and it was all just weaponry to her.
“There are some armored vehicles outside. Just ensure that these things are all safely transported to this location.” She quietly recited an address.
It was a private storage facility of the Yu Family.
She had already drawn out the most suitable route and Apollo had provided very comprehensive equipment.
At the end of the day, Su Chu and his team were still escorting guards. After a moment of shock, they composed themselves and started to move the goods in an orderly manner.
There were a lot of items and even with their efficient speed, it took over two hours before everything was moved correctly.
It was 3am in the morning by then.
Just as they were prepared to leave, a whirring noise sounded above their heads.
It was fast approaching.
Su Huiqing paused. She gazed up into the sky, her eyes turning a shade darker.
Su Chu and team were also anxious. After all, they were currently doing something illegal.
On hearing the sounds of a helicopter, the escort guards all turned pale.
Why was there suddenly a helicopter in such a remote location?
It must have come for them.
Just as they were panicking, Su Huiqing turned and said placidly, “You guys leave first.”
Her voice was low and steady.
At a moment like this, it was a major comfort to their flustered state.
Su Chu and team calmed down. They knew that their most important task at hand was to transport these goods to Green City. “Take care of yourself.”
The team drove the armored vehicles away.
Su Huiqing steered the car under a tree before alighting again. She pulled the hood of her jacket over her head and called Apollo.
She put on her earpiece and shoved her cell phone into her pocket.
After connecting, she asked in a low voice, “Did you inform Bai Yi?”
“Bai Yi?” Apollo had just escaped from his own dangerous situation and was preparing to board a flight out of place.
He jumped up in disbelief on hearing her question.
Su Huiqing lifted her eyes and said mildly, “His helicopter is just hovering over my head.”
She stroked the jade pendant on her neck.
The depths of her eyes grew dim.
Meanwhile, the fallen leaves by her side suddenly started swirling. There was no wind in the mountains at this time.
However, her clothes were also being viciously whipped up.
The helicopter pilot looked at the person beside him. “Captain, those vehicles have suddenly disappeared into thin air. The winds are also too strong now. We must quickly find a spot to land.”
He muttered to himself on the side. “It’s strange for such strong winds to occur so suddenly in this place.”
Bai Yi had his baseball cap pulled so low that his face was hidden. He said placidly, “Land.”
The helicopter landed outside the storage container.
Several people alighted from the helicopter.
Su Huiqing emerged from the shadows. She tugged at her hood and lowered her head, such that no one could see her face clearly. “Bai Yi, I trust that you have been well.”
