"I honestly had nothing to do with it."

"The police were responsible for the arrest, and they were also the ones that charged her with the

Alexander locked so sincere that Lily believed he had nothing to do with this incident.

"So, ultimately, Melanie was the real mastermind behind the kidnapping?" Lily asked, obviously feeling

Lily looked at him in disbelief, "You’re not sure yet you provided the police with information about her?"

already let her off the hook twice when we were here.I can’t let her go again, can I?"

Lily agreed that what Alexander did was for her sake, even if he were the one who gave the police a tip
about Melanie.

If she were innocent, the police would not be able to pin the crime on her.

Since Melanie got arrested, maybe she did something to hurt Lily that Lily was unaware of.

Lily could only roll her eyes and say, "Amazing! You were outright amazing!"

background music to make him look cooler.

Alexander concluded while inching his face closer to Lily’s.Lily rolled her eyes again and gently kissed

After paying the bill, Nathaniel exited the restaurant dejectedly when he stumbled across Alexander
and Lily kissing.He turned green with jealousy.

The woman who was once loyal and unwavering to him was now smiling and leaning into another
man’s embrace.



Nathaniel knew he no longer stood a chance with Lily.He had lost not only a girlfriend but also massive
support from her influential family.

Nathaniel felt utter regret as he imagined losing the chance to obtain immeasurable power and
wealth.He could do nothing but stand there with his fingernails digging into his palms.
