Chapter 1: Cover Her Mouth

The room was filled with a quiet but tense atmosphere during the night.

Sophie's mouth was covered with a white cloth, and she was tightly tied to the bed.

A man was raping her, but she was not allowed to make any noise.

The man did not show any mercy on her.

She endured everything that the man did to her for a very long time.

However, she felt that it was too much this time so she did not conceal her pain anymore and bit his
hand to defend herself.

The man gasped and immediately took back his hand.

"Zac, you bastard! Leave me alone!"

Sophie cried while shouting at him.

She stretched out her hand to push him off her body.

Zac wasn't done yet.

He couldn't believe Sophie pushed her away so he suddenly turned her body over and fixed her arm on
the head of the bed.

She couldn't help but shout in pain, and this irritated Zac.

"Shut up!"

"Oh, I won't! Zac, if Edith knew that you were evil, would she still love you?"



"Enough! You don't deserve to mention her name!"

Zac's words deeply pierced Sophie's heart so she was silent for a while.

"Zac, I want a divorce! I've had enough of you!"

"That's enough for you? But I haven't had enough fun yet! From the day you killed your sister, you
should have known that I will torture you until I die!"

"Why me?"

"Then why did you drug me and climb on my bed?"

On the eve before the wedding, Edith called Zac.

She asked him to pick her up.

Edith was having a bridal shower at that time.

When he arrived at the venue, the party wasn't over yet.

He drank the juice handed by the waiter but after a while, he felt dizzy.

He woke up and found himself lying on the bed.

Sophie was sleeping beside him.

Edith accidentally entered the room where Zac and Sophie were lying after being pushed by her
friends.

She caught him and Sophie on the spot.

Edith ran out heartbroken at that time.



Zac drove on the highway to go after Edith but he couldn't catch up.

Edith had already lost her control and her car had fallen off the cliff with it by the time Zac received a
phone call from the cops.

What's worse, the scene was filled with car wreckage and Edith's blood.

As for her body, the police analyzed that it had been eaten by wild animals at the foot of the mountain.

She was lovely and kind but her life ended with a tragic death.

As long as he remembered the incident, Zac's urge to make Sophie's life miserable deepened.

Even if Sophie didn't kill Edith, she was still the root of the incident.

Zac believed that if the law couldn't punish Sophie, he would take the matter into his own hands.

"You wanted to marry me yourself.I didn't force you with a gun!"

Zac looked at her with disdain and said, "If it weren't for torturing you, do you think I would marry you?
In your dreams!"

After Zac finished speaking, he got out of bed and went to the bathroom.

Sophie sat up with blank eyes while she listened to the sound of the water pouring from the bathroom.

She felt pain in her body but it was nothing compared to her broken heart.

There was one thing that she has never told Zac.

She knew him ever since they were young and loved him since then.



Edith was her twin sister but they did not grow up together because her parents did not like her.

Sophie grew up with her grandmother in the countryside since childhood.

When she was ten years old, she accidentally fell into the water because she was busy playing.

Zac happened to be passing so he saved her.

Sophie saw him as her tall and brave knight in shining armor.

He was a great hero that would marry her under the colorful auspicious clouds in Sophie's fantasy.

She had liked him since then.

However, Zac completely forgot about Sophie and they lived in two different worlds.

After some time, Sophie found out that her twin sister is going to marry Zac.

Her heart was so broken but she didn't know what to do other than giving her blessing from a distance.

She didn't know how everything ended up this way, how Edith died, or why Zac forced her to marry
him.

Later on, she found out about Zac's true reason for marrying her.

She finally understood why Zac tortured her every day and made her life a living hell.

When Zac came out of the bathroom, she was sitting on the bed in a daze.

Just as he was about to leave the room, he heard her hoarse and weak voice.

"Zac, let's divorce."
