Chapter 16: I just want her to die!

Starting that day, Zac lost all the will to live on.

He was physically alive but was mentally and emotionally dead.He didn't eat, drink, and even sleep.He
just kept on holding Sophie's ashes all day and all night.He was so lost the whole time.

His entire being seemed to be paralyzed.

He never cried, or even tried to show everyone that he was struggling and dying inside.

It looked like he was just waiting for his death to come so he could be together with Sophie.

Thaddeus, on the other hand, received a call from the housekeeper regarding his son's condition.

He immediately flew to Arial City to wake Zac up to reality and help him recover.

Unfortunately, Zac seemed to have his own world, and remained silent after Thaddeus said a lot of
words and scolded him.

So Thaddeus decided to awaken Zac's senses by saying something that would surely catch his
attention.

"Do you want to end your life just like this? Let's just say that you don't care about me anymore, but
what about the ashes you are holding now? Think about Sophie's death.How could a secured villa, with
so many servants and bodyguards, suddenly catch a fire? Stop dwelling too much on grief, son.Don't
you want to avenge her?"

Upon hearing this, Zac finally moved, and slowly looked at his father.

"Go and find out the truth! You don't want to die without avenging her death, right? If you die like this,
I'm afraid Sophie won't accept you underground!"

“My Sophie was killed!’’ He thought furiously.

way.You're scaring me.Have you not eaten well recently? I've been practicing my cooking skills

She forced herself to smile to make herself looked calm and relaxed.

"You're the one who set the fire,’ Zac spoke coldly, ignoring her words.

"I don't understand what you said!"

Edith's face turned pale.

She was nervous, but she still gritted her teeth to hide her fear.

Zac got up and walked up to her.

"Sophie is your sister, and I really wonder what she did to make you hate her so much.Even though
she was already comatose and almost lifeless, you still didn't leave her in peace.You really won't stop
until you finally killed her? Hmm? "



Looking at him, Edith realized that Zac was more terrible than a devil, but she wouldn't admit it or else,
she would lose everything.

She slowly took Zac's hand and looked him in the eye with all her courage.
