Chapter 20: Edith, did you give me drugs?

Today, Edith took advantage of the situation.

She replaced two of the pills while feeding Zac.

Even though there was a chance, she didn't leave Zac after changing the pills, as she always did.

Twenty minutes later, Zac was lying in bed with a lot of sweat on his forehead.

His body temperature raised in an unusual way, and his face turned red.

He wanted to take a shower in the bathroom, so he got up from his bed.

Zac was confused.

He couldn't tell if he was still dreaming or if he was awake.

The blood in his entire body was Stirred.

He had been taken by a strange but familiar desire.

That desire had carried him away.

Edith spotted an opportunity and rushed over to help him.

Her hands slid through his chest, then gently moved down to Zac's lower body.

However, he stopped Edith’s hand.

Edith gritted her teeth with hatred.

She knew how terrible the pills would affect Zac, so she didn't expect him to be able to stop her from
doing her plans towards him.



With tears in her eyes, Edith looked up and met Zac's gaze.

She had observed Sophie's behavior before, so she tried to imitate it.

She tiptoed, and tried to kiss Zac's lips, but she couldn't believe that even if he was under the influence
of the pills, he would not let her do it.

Zac studied the face in front of him, which appeared to be identical to Sophie's.

His heart was beating and he was sweating heavily.

His entire body yearned with longing.

The woman's sweet scent was filling his senses, and every cell in his body was urging him to rip the
woman's clothes off and take control of her violently.

But there was always a voice in his heart reminding him, ‘No, Zac! Open your eyes and wake up.She is
not your Sophie!’

Edith proudly raised her eyebrows.

She looked at Zac's eyes which were filled with sexual desire.She felt happy.She thought that Zac
would never be able to resist her at this point.

But, it turned out that she mistakenly interpreted the situation.

Zac pressed her neck with his hand, and pulled her away.

"Did you give me any drugs, Edith?"

He said it with such force that it nearly broke his teeth.



Edith was surprised.

Her eyes widened.

She stumbled upon her words, "No....No way, how can you recognize me!"

In desperation, she forgot that she should not speak because Zac would recognize her.

As a result, Zac knew right away that the woman in front of her wasn't Sophie as soon as he heard her
voice.

His heart felt cold, but he could feel his body being burned.

"You really have the guts to use such horrible tactics against me.Do you want to die?"

The seriousness of his injury grew.

He could kill Edith if he had a bit more strength.

"I don't want to die, Zac.I just love you! I'd like to spend more time with you.If Sophie can replace me,
why can't I replace her today? Let's start over, Zac.I can give you a child.Edith tearfully begged for
mercy, but Zac's body temperature continued to rise.

Zac's health was failing as a result of the pills, and Edith was well aware of this.

Edith took advantage of the situation to free herself from Zac's grip.

She removed her entire outfit, including her undergarments.

She then stood naked in front of Zac.

Zac's eyes widened in surprise.



‘She's completely insane: He thought.

But in fact, Zac was more insane than Edith.

He was the one who hadn't been thinking clearly all along.

Edith wouldn't have had a chance to play tricks on him if he hadn't let her deceive him and let her live
and stay by him pretending to be Sophie .

Sophie would never forgive him if he had sex with Edith again because of the pills, even if he were to
die.

So, he kicked Edith’s body away as she lunged at him aggressively again.

Then, Edith fell to the floor.

Zac went into the bathroom and soaked himself in cold water as Edith fell down.

Edith's forehead landed on the table corner as a result of the Zac's kick.

Due to the pain, she broke down in tears.

She hadn't expected Zac to still be resistant to touching her at this point.

‘Should I get him a towel?’ ‘No!’ Edith was never going to give him anything.

As Edith pondered on this, she got up and slammed the bathroom door.

"Zac, that pill is too strong.There's no way to get rid of it! Can I help you? Soaking in cold water isn't a
good idea.Do you really want yourself to go through this?"

"I swear, Zac, this is the last time.I'll stop bothering you if you let me help you!"



"You can call me cheap or heartless, but I just love you!"

"Zac, I beg you to sleep with me.Please, let me help you!"

But because of the noise they had created inside, the bodyguards outside the door noticed the
commotion.

Edith was found naked when Thaddeus and his bodyguards broke in.

She shouted out in panic.

Thaddeus didn't even take a look at her.

The two bodyguards avoided their gaze from her as well.

Edith quickly grabbed her dress and put it on her body.

She had never been so humiliated in her entire life.

If there was a hole in the ground right now, she would jump in to get out of the situation.

"Knock down the door for me!"

Zac screamed.

The bodyguard lifted his leg and kicked the bathroom door as soon as he heard Zac.

They noticed Zac's blood pouring from his body as the door was opened.

Thaddeus’ heart nearly jumped out of his chest when he saw him.

"Zac! What are you doing? Stop it!"



Comment: I wondered why Edith had to go with that mess for Zac.
