Sean said softly before kissing Molly's forehead. Then, he added, "I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you too." Molly lifted her coquettish face and gave Sean a peck on his cheek. Then, she said, "How nice it would be if we could
spend every day together?
"But, that's okay. I'll probably be back not long after you return. We can be together with each other again by then."
"Okay," Sean said and hugged Molly even tighter.
The next morning, Molly sent Sean to the airport. She waved him goodbye reluctantly and said, "Remember to take care of yourself when
you get back. Tell the kids I'll be back very soon. Also, tell them not to miss me too much, okay?"
"Sure."
Sean gave Molly a tight hug after saying that. "I'll get going now. See you soon."
"Okay."
After that, Molly watched Sean get on the plane. She exhaled deeply after hearing the plane's loud roar
flying above her.
'This feels awful!'
It was Molly's first time leaving the triplets for so long, and she missed them very much.
'I wonder if the kids are eating well without me.'Before she left, she told Brycen to keep an eye on the triplets and stopped them from eating too many
snacks. She had no idea if Brycen did listen to her or not.
The more Molly thought about it, the worse she felt. So, she shook those thoughts away and cleared
her head.
Her top priority should be work. She would be able to return home as soon as she was done
researching the project for Jadon.
However, she saw Jadon looking gloomy when she went back to the laboratory.
"Mr. Scott, are you okay?" Molly asked out of concern.
"Molly, the result came out just now, and it didn't turn out very well. I might need you to stay here for a
while longer!"
Jadon sighed after saying that. He did not want to keep Molly there for so long either. However, he did
not have enough manpower in the laboratory, so he had no other choice.
Molly looked a little disappointed. She thought that the project was ending soon and that she could
return home earlier.
However, Molly thought that Jadon would be very sad too after thinking about it. He had been working
on this project for so many years, but the result turned out to be unsatisfactory after going through so
many things.
So, Molly faked a smile and tried to make Jadon feel better. "Mr. Scott, it's fine. We'll just make some adjustments since the result didn't turn
out well. Let's try again. Who knows if we'll succeed the next time?"
"Kid, you're so optimistic."Jadon's mood became a lot better after hearing Molly’s words. Then, he nodded. "Okay. I'll be more patient, then. We can do this!"
"Yeah." Molly nodded with a smile. However, she sighed after she turned around.
'It looks like I need to spend more time here before I can get back to my kids.'
Sean was also fully committed to his work after he went back.
After a week of building up, he had a few stacks of documents waiting for him to be handled in his office.
A normal person would probably collapse after seeing how much work there was to be done.
However, Sean sat before his desk calmly as he took care of each of the documents concentratedly. He looked very indifferent, meticulous,
and composed as if he was a business genius who came right out of a financial magazine.
