Molly had promised to help Edmund, so she started working on it.
With a folder in her hand, she said, "Edmund, come here."
Edmund was busy working. Hearing her words, he immediately ran to her and asked, "Is there anything
I can do for you?"
"Have a look," Molly said while handing him the folder.
Edmund took it over and looked down, only to find it was the document about the treatment to restore
his memory.
He instantly raised his head in surprise to look at Molly who was smiling.
She said, "Now, I've found the treatment. But you need to work as my assistant."
"No problem!" Edmund immediately patted his chest and said, "I can be your temporary assistant. Don't
hesitate to tell me if you need my help."
Molly was amused, thinking he was as high-flown as ever.
When Logan walked in after talking with Lesley on the phone, he happened to see Edmund's flattering
smile. So, he joked, "I don't think you need to regain your memory. You look pretty good now."
Edmund retorted in dissatisfaction, "You know nothing.
After I regain my memory, I will return to my fiancee."He believed he must have a fiancee like Lesley who was waiting for him. He must retrieve his memory
because he could not let her wait too long.
Logan was confused to hear his words, so he looked at Molly, pointed one finger to his head, and said,
"He is not insane, right?"
Why did he suddenly have a fiancee?
Edmund couldn't bear it anymore, so he retorted, "Watch your mouth! You're insane!"
Logan was speechless.
Molly burst out laughing, thinking working with them was interesting. Watching them bicker was like
watching a comedy. It was fun and made her mood better.
However, they soon got back to work.
As soon as Molly returned to her bedroom at night, she saw Sean leaning back on the bedhead while
seriously reading a document. Hearing the door open, he raised his head. And when he saw her, he
slowly smiled and asked, "Have you done with your work?"
"Yeah."
Molly approached him, glanced at the document in his hand, and lightly reprimanded, "Why can't you
have a good rest? You haven't recovered yet, so you should not have started working."
Sean closed the document and took her hand, saying," You're here. So, I will be fine even if I work,
right?"
Molly actually didn't mean to blame him. She wasn't really angry but just worried about his health.Since inducing the Venomous Insect out of his body, she had served him good medicine and nice food
every day. So, he was recovering well. Although his body suffered a huge loss, they had gradually
made up for it.
Now, he did not need to stay in the consultation room all the time, and his scope of activities was no
longer limited to the underground research lab.
After feeling his pulse, she took out her silver needles and said, "Mr. Ballard asked me to regularly give
you acupuncture treatment so as to smooth your blood circulation."
While speaking, she opened the cloth bag containing silver needles.
Sean silently watched her with his eyes full of tenderness.
Because of the Venomous Insect, she had spent too much energy on him recently. Fortunately, his
body did not fail her.
After Molly stuck the silver needles into the acupuncture points one by one, he soon had a lot of
needles on his body, looking like a hedgehog.
Sean sighed with a smile, "Since I met you, it seems I often show my sickly and frail side to you."
