After arriving at the hospital, the director of the hospital was already waiting at the entrance with
specialists from the cardiac surgery department.
This was a hospital owned by the Anderson Corporation. As soon as they found out that Sean had
booked an appointment, the director of the hospital decided to come in person. He didn't dare to not
take this appointment seriously.
“Mr. Anderson."
Everyone greeted Sean as soon as they saw him.
"Let's do the check-up straightaway."
Sean didn't waste any time.
The director of the hospital nodded and quickly led the way.
Throughout the morning, Sean did all kinds of checkups from head to toe.
However, the report showed that there was nothing wrong with him.
"Everything indicates that you're fine, Mr. Anderson..." the director of the hospital said nervously.
The report suggested that Sean didn't have any of the conditions that he said he had.
Sean furrowed his brows as well. "If there aren't any problems then why would I have chest pain for no
reason?"The director of the hospital shook his head. "I'm not so sure about that either. Normally, if there's
something wrong with one's body, we can tell through a series of checkups. However, the results of
your checkups show that there's nothing wrong with you."
"Would it be because of fatigue?" one of the doctors suggested.
"I don't think so." The director of the hospital didn't agree with his point of view. "If it's because of
fatigue, then there shouldn't be so many blood streaks on Mr. Anderson's body."
As soon as he said those words, the room became so quiet that one could hear a pin drop.
They were all elites of the hospital with a ton of experience.
However, they had no idea what was wrong with their CEO.
Everyone felt a little helpless.
The director of the hospital put down the report and looked at Sean with a serious face. "Mr. Anderson,
the report may show that there's nothing wrong with you, but this might not be good news for us.
Therefore, I'd suggest that you come to us as soon as possible when you have chest pain next time."
With that said, the director of the hospital seemed to have suddenly thought of something and
immediately added," That includes when you see the blood streaks that you've mentioned today."
They didn't dare to be careless, but this was all they could do at the moment.
When Sean heard those words, his face darkened.
He came to the hospital this time without telling Molly. He had thought that he would get a result, but
didn't expect such a situation.
He really didn’t want to make another trip.The director of the hospital seemed to have guessed what was on Sean's mind, so he quickly said, "Mr.
Anderson, this matter might be serious, but it might not be. It's best that you come and do a check-up,
so that your relatives won't be worried."
Sean frowned, but still agreed in the end.
"Okay."
Seeing Sean nod his head, the director of the hospital breathed a sigh of relief. He was then
determined to find out what exactly was wrong with Sean.
After leaving the hospital, Sean went straight to work.
On the way, Tony kept on looking in the rearview mirror and wanted to say something, but he kept quiet
every time.
He remembered the pained expression on Sean's face a couple of days ago. That was probably
caused by the illness.
"Don't let Molly know about this," reminded Sean when he saw Tony looking at him.
Tony quickly nodded his head. "Don't worry. I'm very good at keeping secrets."
After arriving in his office, Sean quickly focused on his work and was only able to have a break at
lunchtime.
He then gave Molly a call.
As soon as the call was answered, Sean heard the sound of operating machines.
"You're at the research laboratory?" he asked.Molly nodded and said, "The lab had always been working on a project. I didn't have time previously to
take a look, but now, I have time, so I naturally have to take a look.”
As she said those words, she dropped some solution in a test tube and focused on looking at the
reaction.
Sean didn't want to disturb her work, so he said, 'Til go pick you up tonight."
"Okay," Molly said without hesitation.
