old now, so he can’t remain alone. Your mom probably won’t get back together with your dad, so she
should find someone to spend the rest of her life with. Why don’t we give them a hand?”

When Ellen returned, Blake had already woken up. She hugged him and felt her heart aching for him
all over again. She encouraged him and spoke to him caringly, and she also promised to keep him
company during that period.
