How Could That Woman Compare To Mommy?

The two women watched Rosalie‘s figure disappear through the door, then they went into the
restaurant and sat by the window.

“Wendy, what‘s the matter between you and Dr. Jacobs? I assume you both know each other but
you‘re not on good terms?” Andrea asked cautiously as she looked at the person opposite her.

Wendy gritted her teeth angrily. “How could we be on good terms? Rosalie is Byron‘s ex–wife!

If it were not for Rosalie, her marriage with Byron would have been a done deal long ago!

Hearing this, Andrea was completely shocked. “That person… is Byron‘s ex–wife?”

Byron was married six years ago, which was hardly a secret in the circle, especially when they grew up
with Byron. However, everyone had always thought that Wendy would be Byron‘s future wife.

Out of the blue, Byron suddenly got married. This heroine of Byron‘s life never appeared in front of
them, and he rarely spoke of her. So much so that no one knew who the woman was until they
divorced. Nobody would have expected Byron’s ex–wife to be such a person…

Andrea’s mind was filled with the night Byron met Rosalie,

At that time, she simply felt Byron‘s behavior was very strange as he had treated her so harshly. She
felt targeted for no reason, and he even asked her to apologize to Rosalie. It turned out that there was
a reasonable backstory to his behavior.

Thinking of this, Andrea sighed in hindsight.



“No wonder. That explains why Byron was so protective of her that day.” Wendy picked up these words
immediately and asked coldly, “What are you talking about? Byron protected her? What‘s going on?”
Andrea thought of what happened that night, and her face was full of displeasure. She complained to
Wendy immediately, “It was the night that woman came offering to treat Grandpa. I just asked a few
questions for some verification. After all, she looks so young. Who knows if she has real skills? As a
result, Byron and Estie demanded I apologize to her!”

Upon hearing this, Wendy‘s heart sank utterly. She was on guard against all odds because she was
afraid that Byron would meet Rosalie. For this reason, she had tried every means to make Byron

plans again!

Out of the restaurant, Rosalie took the two little boys directly into the car and drove all the way home.
Lucian and Nox were still thinking about how Mommy was targeted just now. Although the words of the
two ladies sounded fine, they had felt their hostility toward Mommy. Besides, Mommy seemed to be
angry too. The two little boys looked at each other, both feeling a little annoyed.

“Mommy, who were those two just now?” Lucian asked Rosalie with a sullen expression on his small
face. “One is the family member of Mommy‘s patient and the other is probably… Estie‘s mother.” As
soon as those words left her mouth, Rosalie felt a strange feeling in her heart.

The two little guys pouted in disgust.



It turned out that was the woman Daddy abandoned Mommy for. She was the reason why he did not
want all of them anymore. How could that woman compare to Mommy?
