Since Dr. Jacobs returned to the country, the two of them had been interacting with one another for
much longer than he knew of.

As far as Andrius knew, Byron had practically been helping Rosalie the entire time. Even the
opportunity to cooperate with the Lancer family was given to Rosalie by Byron.

No matter how deep the misunderstanding went between the two of them six years ago, even if Rosalie

“So, if Dr. Jacobs really didn’t budge, how did you spend your vacation? Did you just pass the time on
your own?” Andrius could not help but ask.

Byron shook his head. “I don’t know what she was thinking. I even thought she had come to see me as
a friend when the vacation was almost over.”

Andrius nodded clearly. “That is to say your relationship is sometimes good, sometimes bad? So
there’s still a time when you two are at ease?”

Hearing this, Byron nodded noncommittally.

Andrius could not stop his head from aching. He was feeling more puzzled by the way these two
people were getting along.

He thought Rosalie had always held the same attitude toward Byron and did not expect that there was
a time when both of them would be at ease with one another.

“Byron, with the way you’re treating Dr. Jacobs… Just what kind of relationship do you want to have
with her?” Andrius naturally could not bear to see his friend like this all the time, and after thinking

It was tacit approval of his statement.

should say to her so that she’ll understand?”
