Did Not Sleep Well Last Night

During the weekend, Rosalie had just woken up when she heard a knock on the door.

Rosalie did not think much about it and just thought that the boys had come to wake her. she rubbed
her eyes and let them in.

The bedroom door opened, and three little ones stood at the door unexpectedly. Estie was wearing a
pink skirt and carrying a small cloth bag, which was super adorable.

Looking at her, Rosalie fell into a trance, she thought that she had not slept well all night and was
having hallucinations.

Rosalie’s mind was all over the place last night because they were going to the hot spring with Byron
today. She did not know what time it was when she fell asleep.

Even when she finally fell asleep, she could not sleep well. She felt like she had been vividly dreaming
the whole time.

She woke up dazed and confused.

“Auntie!” Estie’s soft, impish voice sounded at the door.

Rosalie came back to her senses and confirmed that the little girl was really here.

“Estie…” Rosalie got off the bed, walked to the little one, raised her eyes subconsciously, and looked
around. However, she did not see the man. “Why are you here? Where’s your daddy?”

The little girl pointed downstairs. “He’s waiting downstairs!”

Hearing this, Rosalie blushed.



She had agreed to go to the hot spring together. The man had already arrived, but she had only just
woken up…

Anyone would feel embarrassed.

The two little boys explained, “We heard a knock on the door and saw Estie outside, so we brought her
up!

As for Byron, the little boys ignored him. They knew that he would follow along on his own.

Rosalie patted the heads of the little kids. “Oh, I see. You little ones go down and wait for a while. I’ll go
down soon.”

The kids nodded obediently, turned around, and went downstairs.

As the figures of the little ones disappeared at the corner of the stairs, Rosalie smacked her head
angrily and quickly got up to get cleaned up.

When she packed up and went downstairs, Lisa had already prepared breakfast. The little ones had sat
down obediently at the dining table.

Rosalie looked around for Byron.

She saw the man wearing a casual trench coat and sitting lazily on the sofa. Then, as if he heard her
coming downstairs, the man looked up leisurely.

When their eyes met, Rosalie’s face was filled with panic.

Just as she was about to look away, she heard the man say, “Miss Jacobs, you didn’t sleep well last
night?”

Hearing this, Rosalie subconsciously touched her dark eye circles.



When she was washing up just now, she saw light blue rings around her eyes, so she put on some
makeup to cover them up.

‘Didn’t I manage to cover them? Are they still showing?’

Byron added in a slow voice, “It’s almost eight o’clock now.”

Rosalie’s hand froze under her eyes, and she was silent for a moment. She suppressed the
embarrassment in her heart and said apologetically, ” Sorry to keep you waiting for a long time.”

Seeing the woman’s series of subconscious actions, Byron understood that she really did not sleep
well last night. Hence, he let it slide without a word.

Rosalie went down to the living room and sat down at the dining table. The man did not speak again
during their meal. Rosalie breathed a sigh of relief.

When the little kids saw her sitting down, they hurriedly piled food onto her plate.

Rosalie saw Estie eating with her and asked with concern, “Estie, didn’t you eat breakfast this
morning?”

The little guy shook her head sweetly.

She was anxious to see Auntie, and immediately after she got up, she simply got dressed and urged
Daddy to come over.
