“What did you say to her?” Byron asked her in a deep and stern voice.

Melody looked him up and down, slightly unhappy. ” You left the injured Wendy to see her. why can’t I
chat with her? Besides, didn’t you hear? She’s not interested in you at all, yet you’re getting angry at
me because of her?”

Byron turned a deaf ear to her words and continued to ask, “What did you tell her just now?”

He would rather believe that it was his mother who said something to Rosalie, which was why she
responded with such cold words.

Hearing this, Melody’s face also sank completely. “I just told her a few facts, yet she went ahead and
complained to you, asking you to come over to confront me, your mother. Facing such a woman,
nothing I said to her could be considered too much!”

Byron looked at his mother deeply and replied in a deep voice, “She didn’t ask me to come.”

“Do you think I’ll believe that?” Melody’s face was full of sarcasm.

The next second, her son’s words made Melody’s expression crack.



“I sent someone to monitor her, and it was my subordinate who told me that you were here,” Byron
explained the facts with a blank expression.

Melody’s face was full of disbelief when the words fell.

After staring at him for a long time, she confirmed that she had heard correctly. Her son had sent
someone to monitor that woman.

“What’s so great about that woman? Don’t you forget what she did to our family and Estie!” Melody
slapped the table fiercely. “I don’t care what you said before. Now, call all your men back and stop
watching over her! From today onward, the two of you are not allowed to have any contact! You’re
going to marry Wendy in the future! what kind of chaos will happen if this matter gets out in the public?”

Byron met his mom’s gaze with unmoving stillness. ” I said, this is a matter between me and her. I’ll
solve it myself. Don’t interfere.”
