Chapter 393 Make it Hard

Megan was worried about Felix's problem, for fear that Felix did not accept her, so again she confirmed
whether Felix liked her.

"Do you really like me, Great Grandpa?"

"Of course, I like you and you will stay in our home."

Felix repeated the answer. He liked this child, who was clever and he liked to listen to everything she
said.

Felix asked and remembered it was Wendy caused it.

Megan replied with a smile, and then walked out of the study slowly holding Felix's hand.

Brian left the suburbs and went straight to Winnie's home. When he saw her car in the underground
parking space, he felt at ease.

He was not sure what Grandpa said to Winnie, and did not know if Winnie felt wronged, so he came to
her regardless of his Grandpa’s warming.

No sooner had Winnie arrived home than she heard the bell before she could settle down. Without
much thought, she guessed that it was Brian, so she went to the door and opened it.



The door opened. Before Winnie could speak, she was held in his arms by Brian who was emotional.

Brian felt the real Winnie, relieved.

"It's going to be harder for me since you came like this."

Winnie looked dissatisfied, but her heart was quite warm, at least at this helpless moment she was not
alone. And there was a warm embrace around her.

Then Brian let Winnie go.

"I don’t care. If my freedom is restricted, I will be my grandfather's puppet."

Brian said in a domineering manner, but he was still worried. He had heard his grandfather's warning.
On the way he had told Albert to arrange someone to secretly protect Winnie, lest she encountered
danger or forcibly taken away.

"Don't say that. It's a sudden thing for the chairman and he needs time to digest it."

Winnie was still persuading Brian, so as not to make the two generations unhappy because of her.

"Don't worry about other people's feelings. What did Grandpa say to you? Did he give you a hard
time?"

Brian did not care anyone but Winnie at this moment.

"You are so anxious. If he made it hard for me, how can I be so easy? Don't worry, he just told me that I
wasn't allowed to go to his house and to be with the children."

Winnie could accept the first half of the sentence, but she could not accept that she was not allowed be
with the children, but she did not show it.



"Winwin, I will fight for it. Don't worry. You will not be separated from the children under any
circumstances. I promise.”

It was so hard for Winnie.

Brian saw that Winnie was enduring and undertaking it, but she had not broken down yet.

"Well, I believe you and I believe Chairman is not that heartless."

resist.

"Go back. Chairman just came back today. You go and accompany him."

Winnie said gently.

him to go back.

eating noodles or drinking cold water.

After dinner, the family sat in the living room. After a moment's silence, Felix finally spoke.

"Stella, take the two children upstairs to play.”

Felix commanded in a deep voice, not waiting for Stella to respond, Joshua volunteered.

"I'll go. I'll take the kids upstairs to play."

Joshua walked upstairs holding Megan in arms and holding Luke in hand, leaving only Felix, Rufus,
and Stella in the living room.

"Did Brian go to Winnie?"

Felix asked coldly. He did not pursue who should take the responsibility, because it had become a fact
and it was of no use to pursue the responsibility.

"He didn't tell us when she left, but I think so."

Stella answered uncertainly.

Felix's face darkened. He had just warned Brian, but the next moment Brain went against his will, it
seemed that he could not control Brian any more.

"Winnie said it was because Thomas went to the prison to see Penny that she decided to tell the story
of the children. Is it true?"

"Don't let Brian know what happened in those years. If he knows, it will be a mess at our family."

Felix mentioned the things of that year.

“We can conceal it, but if Brian gets back his memory, it can’t be concealed anymore. Grandpa, be
prepared."



Stella had to remind Felix, because Brian was getting back his memory bit by bit.

"Conceal it first and be quiet for a more day."

Felix knew that Brian would find out one day, but he did not want to see a war within the family when he
was alive.

"Dad, what are you going to do about Winnie and the children?"

Rufus asked, concerning about the children and Winnie.

For him, things between Thomas and Brian sooner or later was to be solved, no one could escape it.
And he wanted it done as soon as possible, rather than buried with a time bomb.

But Winnie and her children were more important. Only Winnie and the children were settled, Brian
could set his mind at work and deal with Thomas.

"You take care of the children. Winnie is not allowed to contact the children."

"Such a woman is too insidious, she can’t in our family."

Speaking of this matter, Felix's tone seemed to be sharper. Only in this way can he stick to his attitude.

"When Megan left before New Year, you couldn't stand to see it if you were there. She cried sadly. She
kept asking me secretly why she couldn't spend the New Year with the Bennet family and why her
