Penny looked outside to make sure the police couldn't hear him, then said to her brother.

"I'll get you the money, and you get a private investigator to look into it. He is wanted and will not leave
B City. He will be found."

This was Penny's most urgent thing. She would spend any amount of money.

"We'll see."

He didn't say yes or no. He wanted to find his father, but he had to decide if it would work.

He didn’t know why Penny wanted to find his father, but his attitude was clear. He wanted to ask his
father if it was true that he had killed a person, and if it was, he wanted to persuade him to give himself
up instead of hiding.

After her brother and sister had left, Oscar came in.

"Well, how is the talk?"

Oscar asked. Seeing that Penny had a gloomy face, so he did not hold too much hope.

"It's good not to quarrel. We hate each other. There's no kinship."

Penny understated about it. She did not want to talk about her family, because she was ashamed about
it.

"Never mind them, you know my illness?"

Her brother and sister left, and she got no news about her father, she could only care about her own
business.

"I heard it from the doctor. Penny, don't put pressure on yourself. The doctor said you can keep going
as long as you're in a good mood. I believe you can have a good attitude to face the disease and
overcome the disease."

Oscar enlightened Penny, dare not show sentimental side.

"You don't need to comfort me. When I was in prison, I realized I wasn't right. I thought it might be bad."

"Oscar, I am not afraid of death. I can face illness, but I know I'm going to have a hard time."

Penny was not sad, she was just acting to have a low mood. In the face of Oscar's concern, she was
feeling guilty.

She was not ill, but in Oscar's eyes she was dying. Oscar must have been so worried and sad.

"What's the matter?”

Oscar asked.

"After I was diagnosed with cancer, the prison entrusted me to my family. But my family doesn't accept
me, and..."

"I accept you. I can take care of you in the hospital. You just need to cooperate with the doctor for
treatment and don't worry about anything else."

Oscar offered help before Penny could finish her words. He did not care that Penny was still a prisoner,
nor did he want to interfere with her in anything. He just wanted her to be happy in her last stage of life.

"Oscar, thank you so much. You're the only one who can help me at this point."

Penny moved. The so-called "friend in need" was Oscar's selfless help.

"Don't be polite with me. We have known each other for so many years, I should take care of you as a
friend."

Oscar said with righteousness. If he did not help Penny, no one would offer help.

"But I don't want treatment. I want to go home. Will you take care of me if I get home?"

Her brother enlightened her, if she stayed in the hospital, she could not do what she wanted to do.

"Why give up treatment?"

Although Oscar already knew that treatment was meaningless, he still held a glimmer of hope for a
miracle.

"There is no point, it is terminal cancer. I don't want to spend my last days in the hospital. I want to live
my last days quietly."

It was reasonable. If there was no miracle, she would die in grief, it was better to finish the last journey
of her life at peace.

Oscar pondered for a moment.

"Well, I respect that. I'll go to the police to go through the formalities and then I'll take you home."

It had been settled, Penny would be taken care of by Oscar.

Emily read Leo’s message when she got home until the evening.

"I have been your man since last night, and you are so heartless to leave your man like this. I'm still a
patient. You'd better come to take care of me at night. Thank you very much!"

"How can you be so cruel? I'm still sick but you don't even reply to me."

"I've got another fever now. Do you really leave me alone?"

"Why ignored me all day? Do you mind what happened last night, or you don't care about my life?"

It was the last voice message.

After hearing that, Emily felt depressed and then sighed.

Emily was worried about his illness. Did he really have a high fever? She got a new message from him.

Emily clicked it.

"Do you really ignore me? But I can't ignore you, I took the initiative last night, I will be responsible for
you. Tell you what, I'll go straight to meet your parents and tell them about last night..."

Emily directly called Leo when she heard that.

"Are you crazy? Why sent many messages? You still want to come to meet my Mom and Dad. Is that
something worth showing off?"

Over the phone, Emily angrily rebuked.

But it was pleasant to hear for Leo.

"I'm not crazy. I'm just sick and seeking comfort. I just feel responsible for what happened last night. I
have to talk to your presents about marrying you."

Leo had no way and could only use this way to force Emily.

"You can't tell my parents. It is our business, and I can take care of it."

Emily was angry and worried, for fear that Leo would her parents about it. If her parents knew it, they
would force her to marry Leo.

Leo suddenly fell into silence. He felt that this method really frightened Emily, so he had a way to
blackmail her.

Although this method was very likely to annoy Emily, but if she was pregnant, it would be easy to deal
with.

Seeing that Leo was silent, Emily was worried and asked with concern.

“Are you ok?”

"Well, no. The doctor is coming to give me infusion. I haven't found anyone to take care of me yet."

A moment ago, he was thinking a way to make Emily to accept him, but not he pretended to be
pathetic. Leo's means changed as Emily's mood changed.

He would do anything to succeed in chasing his wife.

"Where are your parents? You can ask them to take care of you, or you can go back to them for
infusion."

Emily became more worried, but instead of volunteering, she helped think of a way.

"They went to Europe on vacation, and wherever I went, I was alone."

"Do me a favor. I want you to take care of me."

Leo begged, sounding sick.

Emily couldn't bear it and could only agree.

"All right, I happened to give you back your car."

Emily went to Leo’s.

Winnie had been busy after she picked up her kids. After cooking, she sat with her family at the table. It
would the last time the four of them ate together.

When Brian came at 7:30 in the evening, Winnie had got the meal ready waiting for him. Hearing the
doorbell rang, Winnie hurried to open the door.

Brian came in and she whispered to remind him.

"Talk about it after dinner. Let's have a nice meal with the kids."

Winnie bent over to find slippers for Brain, but at this time, Brain said in a cold voice.

"I've eaten."

It was normal words, but Winnie felt it ruthless for the occasion today.

She whispered and he should know better than anyone about her intention. However, he did not want
to have dinner with her or give the kids one last fond memory.

Winnie threw the slippers at Brian's feet, did not look up at him, but gave a firm voice.

"For the sake of the kids, eat again. This is the last dinner we eat together, you have to put with it even
if you hate me. And, don't keep a straight face in front of the kids."

Winnie turned to the two kids after that.

"Here comes you Dad, and we can eat."

Her mood instantly changed to be joyful and happy. It must be hard to do that

At the table.

"Dad, we've been waiting for you for a long time. My stomach is growling."

Megan complaint about her father while eating. If her father came back earlier, her stomach would not
growl.

"It is my fault, I will come back early next time. Eat more now and stop your stomach from growling."

Brian changed his attitude after being warned. He was not angry with the kids anyway.

"Yes, I'll eat more. Mom and dad, eat more too."

"Here, brother, it's your favorite."

Megan cared about everyone.

Such a harmonious and loving picture made Winnie felt sour. But there was nothing she could do. She
had been trying her effort, but Brian tried every means to abandon her, she was unable to do anything
about it.

Brian was also unhappy. He promised his two kids that they would stay together for a lifetime, but
before long, he was about to break his words. How should he face the two kids from now on?

"Mom, you haven't been back to Grandpas for a long time. Grandpa says he misses you and Aunt
Vanessa."

Luke spoke to his mother when he was eating the dishes from his sister.

"I am so busy these days. I will go to see your grandpa when I am free."

"Eat, eat more."

Even if the lie would be exposed soon, Winnie still wanted to give the kids a warm dinner.

"Well, Mom, Dad, eat more, too."

Luke did not continue to ask though he was confused.
