Chapter 621 Concealing the Truth

Winnie was surprised that they two of them knew the fact. And she was sad that Brian did not check it,
but Albert and Calvin had been worrying about it.

Since they already knew, Winnie could only answer truthfully.

"Yes, there were three of us in the room all the time."

"Caro and Stefan are friends, and Caro got the room ready before you went there. Then she and
Stefan stayed with you until dawn. They took care of you all night, so after you and Stefan left, Caro
continued to sleep in that room because she didn't have slept all night."

Albert described the truth.

It was not from his investigation, but from the video.

They didn't finish watching the video yesterday because they were too busy at work and they failed to
find Caro, so Calvin got up early this morning and continued to watch the video. Then he saw Caro
talking with her colleague in the hall about what happened the night before.

Calvin called Albert immediately after that, so two people came to Winnie for verification.

"You investigated so clearly. Yeah, I got drunk out of a bad mood, and I vomited all night. Caro and
Stefan took care of me all night."

Winnie was moved.

Calvin and Albert believed in her, and found out the truth for her innocence. She was grateful that she
had such two good friends.

"That means nothing happened between you and Stefan that night. Mr. Bennet misunderstood you."



Calvin confirmed again and then they would tell the truth to Mr. Bennet.

"What could happen? I have nothing to do with Stefan, and Stefan is a gentleman. How could he do
anything to me when I was drunk?"

Hearing that, Calvin and Albert knew it was true.

They did not ask any more questions, but looked at each other and got up.

"Where are you going?”

Winnie asked.

"Director Chambers, you have been wronged by Mr. Bennet. We can’t sit idle. We're going to tell him
the truth."

Calvin said with justice and was to go, but Winnie hurriedly stopped in front of them.

"You can't tell him."

Winnie's firm attitude frightened Calvin and Albert.

"Why? You've been wronged. Mr. Bennet is not right. Why don't you tell him?"

Calvin and Albert did not understand why Winnie wanted to conceal the truth.

"Sit down. Sit down and I'll tell you."

Winnie took Calvin and Albert to sit down on the sofa. It was hard to explain, so she could only take it
slow.



After they sat down, Winnie said about her experience. What she learned from these experiences were
outlook on life, values and the love of inequality.

"I don't want to have any relationship with him. We have broken up and I am good being single."

"Director Chambers, you can't just give up. Besides, you are carrying the blame. You may never get
over it. Aren't you wronged?"

Albert still did not understand why Winnie wanted to hide the fact. Even if she did not want to go back
to Brian, at least she should prove her innocence.

Winnie first sighed, and then gave a faint smile.

"It is not gonna happen between Brian and me at any time. Chairman has repeatedly approached me
alone and asked me not to interfere with his marriage."

"Even if I marry him, I will not have a good live because they despised me."

"Felix wanted Brian to marry a rich woman and nobody can change that."

Winnie stopped speaking and looked at Albert and Calvin, this was the first thing she told them the
reason why she could not be with Brian. Felix was an insurmountable obstacle for the relationship
between her and Brian and she believed that Calvin and Albert knew this point better than anyone.

Calvin and Albert looked at each other, but neither of them spoke, because Felix repeatedly found
Winnie alone. And the second reason was that Felix did not allow Winnie to become his daughter-in-
law.

Because of that, Brian had been working hard until they broke up.

Winnie continued as Albert and Calvin were speechless.



"Felix is only one of the reasons, but most of all, Brian is the key."

"He doesn't trust me at all. He has never trusted me unconditionally except for my work. There is no
point in us being together if we don't even have basic trust."

"I can explain this time, and he can reluctantly believe it. But what about the next time? Shall I keep
explaining, if he still doesn’t believe me?"

At this, she got tears in eyes. Only she knew how sad she was, others could not feel it.

"You know better than anyone what I have suffered and taken the blame when I was with him. I don't
want it anymore. I don't want to have anything to do with him. I'd rather take the blame than be with
him."

Winnie felt it was a sufficient reason.

Others felt she was good, but Calvin and Albert knew the truth that she was not.

"The way he treated the women around him and me, and the fact that he didn't trust me scared me."

Winnie felt sooner or later they would break up. Breakup earlier would make her get better earlier, or
her life would be destroyed in the hands of Brian.

Calvin and Albert had been silent, while Winnie had finished her words.

They could not refute Winnie's every word. What she said was indeed real.

Even though Brian did not love the women around him, he was a good, successful man, and there
were many women who tried to suck up to him and wanted to get into his bed.



In this case, these women put Winnie as the enemy, Winnie would be therefor got hurt.

The two men mused and could not say anything against it.

"It really touches me to know that you are doing all this for my own good. But the only way to do this for
me is to cover it up. I believe you can do it and do it well."

Winnie said. She had made up her mind that she must get rid of Brian this time.

"You knew from the very beginning that Mr. Bennet misunderstood you, so you decided to break up
with him, so you did not explain."

Albert finally opened his mouth, helpless.

"Misunderstanding is not a big deal, but his distrust chills me. He was in the hotel with Gloria. I was
uncomfortable, but I chose to believe him. But he believed everything Wendy said, and then scolded

not break up with Brian. Although she still could not get over Brian, she was relaxed, she was free, she



no longer had to have a wild thought for a look of Brian.

Since she could not get over Brian, she would take it as unrequited love. The pain in her heart was
better than the pain he gave her.

When Leo got up, it was already nine o’clock in the morning. Due to illness, he slept until more than
nine o’clock.

However, to his disappointment, Emily had already left when he opened his eyes. What did that mean?
Emily still refused to forgive him, or she would not leave.

Leo was disappointed, but he was happy that he had sex with Emily last night, which was a kind of

"Aren't you up yet? We agreed to go shopping today."

Daenerys heard Emily's twittering voice and knew Emily was in bed.

As soon as Emily heard the word shopping, she remembered her agreement with Daenerys, and
