Chapter 13 - As Long As He Is Happy

Wang Shen Ze was stunned for a moment after he heard what Yi Fan had said. He then looked away
and laughed coldly, as though he had just heard a joke.

He could not believe that Lin Wen Xin was able to cook the food with such a familiar taste that he has
been craving for so long.

“Lin Wen Xin... you brought this upon yourself... Very good! I shall make you cook for me every day
from today onwards!”, Wang Shen Ze sneered as he stroked his fingers on his chin and thought to
himself.

Over on the other side, Lin Wen Xin was in the midst of attending their team’s weekly meeting.

Her phone that she has placed on the table suddenly lighted up with a text message.

[Prepare my meals from tomorrow onwards. Leave it at the reception desk.]

Lin Wen Xin could not believe what she had seen! She quickly responded him with an “Okay, will do!”,
and a smiley face at the end.

She could not help but smile to herself as she kept re-reading what he had sent her, over and over
again!

“He must have liked the meal, otherwise he wouldn’t have asked me to continue preparing right?”

“Hehe, what should I prepare for him tomorrow then?... Hmm, how about the day after tomorrow... and
the following weeks?”

Lin Wen Xin is already feeling exhilarated as she continued to make plans in her head.



“Bam!” A loud sound caused by a thick book slamming on the table had completely interrupted her
impressive plans.

“Lin Wen Xin! Are you done day dreaming?! It’s already your turn to present and you are still smiling to
yourself?!”

“Are you waiting to be fired?!”

Sister Fei Yi crossed her arms and stood behind Lin Wen Xin as she continued to reprimand her.

Lin Wen Xin immediately stood up from shock, and quickly apologised to the entire team before
proceeding to present her parts.

As agreed earlier, Lin Wen Xin had to prepare lunch for Wang Shen Ze, and her previously one-time off
busy morning, has now been permanently added into her daily routine.

However, Lin Wen Xin is completely satisfied with this arrangement and she definitely did not mind this
additional trouble.

In fact, not to mention a meal, even if he wanted three meals a day, Lin Wen Xin would still do it.

As long as Wang Shen Ze is happy, she would naturally be happy too!

The receptionists at DT Holdings are now very familiar with her since she has been dropping by every
single day.

Apart from bringing food for Wang Shen Ze, Lin Wen Xin would also frequently pack some snacks or
buy some delicious pastries for the receptionists.

She really felt bad that they had an extra job to do and wanted to thank them in this way!



Because of this, Lin Wen Xin now have a very good rapport with the receptionists as they are very
appreciative of her generosity.

Few weeks have passed very quickly and it is time for Lin Wen Xin to start preparing for the wedding.

Xu Jia Li has personally arranged for Lin Wen Xin and Wang Shen Ze to meet at the bridal shop today.

She has engaged the most renowned wedding gown and suit designers from France to do more than
twenty sets for each of them to choose from.

It is the weekend and the chauffeur drove Lin Wen Xin to the bridal shop.

It is a luxurious and spacious five level building located in the heart of town. The first three levels are
for their product showcases, while the fourth and fifth levels are specially reserved for their VIP guests.

The minute Lin Wen Xin walked to the front of the shop, the large french designed doors opened
automatically and one of the sales assistant came to greet her.

“Hello! I’m here to try on my gowns, is there any reservation by the name of ‘Lin Wen Xin and Wang
Shen Ze’?”

When the store manager heard her name, she immediately went forward to serve her.

“Hello Ms Lin, I’m the store manager who will be assisting you today. Please follow me to the fifth floor.”
The manager then led her up via their private VIP lift.

When they arrived, Lin Wen Xin was brought to their reception area where premium tea and high-end
snacks were being served to her. The entire floor is reserved solely for the couple.



It is already 12.01pm and Wang Shen Ze should have already arrived by now.

He is usually a person who is very on time and dislikes tardiness. Did something happen to him today?

[Shen Ze, I have reached the bridal shop. Are you almost here yet?]

Lin Wen Xin decided to drop him a text. She then smiled embarrassedly at the manager and said to
her, “Sorry, I guess he is running a little late. I will wait for him to arrive first.”

“No problems at all Ms Lin, please take your time.” The manager smiled and bowed to her before
leaving the reception area.

Just 20 minutes ago, Wang Shen Ze was on his way to the bridal shop when he received a call from Yi
Fan.

“President Wang, the investigator asked if you are available to meet now. The girl is currently with him.”
Yi Fan reported succinctly.

Wang Shen Ze immediately looked at the driver and said, “Turn the car around!”
