Chapter 42 - Are You Afraid?

Wang Shen Ze looked at Lin Wen Xin for a few seconds, before reluctantly agreeing to her suggestion.

She broke into a smile after knowing that he was willing to compromise.

Lin Wen Xin placed her hands on both sides of his face and teased him, “Look at me!... This won’t do,
just look at your long face. Come on, give me a smile!...”

She then showed him her widest grin and repeatedly urged him to do the same.

Wang Shen Ze stared at her silly face and finally gave in. He forced out a wide smile that seemed
really hilarious to Lin Wen Xin.

Due to her contagious laughter, both of them could not stop laughing at each other.

Meanwhile, Yi Fan had just reached the resting area to check in with Wang Shen Ze on what he should
do next.

He was completely stunned when he saw the situation before him. Yi Fan blinked his eyes a few more
times to confirm that he was not dreaming.

From the time he has started working for Wang Shen Ze until now, he has never once seen him smile
before, let alone laughing heartily!

Wang Shen Ze noticed that Yi Fan was standing quietly at the side, and smiled as he ordered him,
“Remove all the skin contact in the script and resume with filming.”

“He... He smiled at me??...” Yi Fan thought to himself. At this moment, he really did not know whether
to laugh or cry.



He forced himself to remain composed as he responded, “Yes President, I will do that now.”

Yi Fan happened to see Lin Wen Xin giving him a thumbs up and he respectfully returned with one as
well.

But his action was obviously caught by Wang Shen Ze, and Yi Fan immediately withdrew his hand as
he saw the president’s sharp and scary gaze.

The speed of Wang Shen Ze changing his expression is really unimaginably quick!

When Wang Shen Ze and Lin Wen Xin returned to the set, the director quickly came over and thanked
them repeatedly for giving him a second chance.

The crew did not dare to slack off and everyone worked doubly hard to make this filming a success.

of freshly squeezed fruit juice that he had bought from the stall nearby.

Wang Shen Ze continued looking at her with anticipation as to what she is going to say to him.

busy responding to every one of them.

“You have worked hard today, thank you!”



“I wanted to tell you earlier that the props are really well made! Good job!”

“Thank you, please rest well tonight!”

Wang Shen Ze stood there with a sullen face as he felt that he was completely ignored by her.

Why was she thanking all those people first? He had also worked hard today and supported her
throughout the day too!

Lin Wen Xin finally diverted her attention back to him, only to see his gloomy expression.

“Thank you for your fruit juice!” She began slurping it happily to quench her thirst.

After she was done, she spoke to him excitedly, “Follow me, I’ll bring you to somewhere tonight!”

She walked away, only to realise that Wang Shen Ze is still standing at the same spot.

Lin Wen Xin went over, held on to his hand and pulled him away.

Both of them soon arrived in front of the largest Ferris wheel in the country that overlooks the entire
city.

Each cabin could carry up to a maximum of 30 people and there are a total of 28 cabins.

Of course, Lin Wen Xin knew that Wang Shen Ze did not like to be in a crowded and confined space,
so she opted for a private cabin for the two of them.

However, the minute they got in, Wang Shen Ze only stayed in the middle portion of the cabin, unlike
Lin Wen Xin who was actively moving around to take pictures.



She walked over to his side, “You are afraid of heights?”

Wang Shen Ze swallowed his saliva and replied in his usual arrogant tone, “I just prefer to stay here.”

Lin Wen Xin chuckled, clearly not believing in what he had just said. She held on to his hand and
dragged him over to the side of the cabin.

And he wouldn’t let go of her hand!!

The skyline of the city is stunning and Lin Wen Xin is so mesmerised by it.

She could not help but tease the man beside her, who has only been busy staring at her the entire
time.

“You can continue to look at me, while I continue to enjoy the scenery. I will show you how beautiful the
view is through my expressions. Look closely!” She pointed at her face cheekily.

Lin Wen Xin then went on to make several facial expressions to show how in love she is with the view
in front of her.

However, everything that she did was nothing but silly actions to Wang Shen Ze. And the entire cabin
was soon occupied with their laughter.

Wang Shen Ze looked fixedly at Lin Wen Xin, and was no longer focusing on what she was blabbering
about.

Her enchanting smile and cheerful persona have really captivated him today.

He held on to her waist and leaned close to her face, as his lips gently pressed against hers.
