Chapter 18 - I Should Move Out?

Lin Wen Xin was startled as she looked towards the direction of the voice.

She saw a young girl that was about her age, standing with her arms crossed and glaring straight at
her.

That girl is Hong Xin Rui who has totally dominated the entire house with her overbearing attitude.
Even though the servants did not like her, they are still afraid of offending her.

Lin Wen Xin was completely dumbfounded to find out that there is actually a girl who is already living in
their marital home.

She felt a dull pain in her heart as she fell back to reality that this house is actually not hers, but theirs -
Wang Shen Ze and Hong Xin Rui’s.

So this is the girl that Wang Shen Ze likes? No wonder he has been treating her so indifferently.

Even though Lin Wen Xin was feeling hurt, she could not help but also feel bad for Hong Xin Rui.

After all, it was her who had snatched Wang Shen Ze away from Hong Xin Rui right?

Seeing that Lin Wen Xin did not respond to her question, Hong Xin Rui immediately became more
agitated as she shouted at her again, ”Are you deaf? Did you not hear me? Who are you?!”

Hong Xin Rui stomped her feet angrily as she flounced towards the direction of Lin Wen Xin.

“I... I am...” Lin Wen Xin stammered as she was helplessly thinking of the best way to explain this
situation to the girl in front of her.

“She is my wife”, Wang Shen Ze who happened to hear the loud commotion at the door, strolled
towards them elegantly.



Hong Xin Rui widened her eyes in shock as she looked at Wang Shen Ze who had appeared in front of
her.

She quickly returned to her demure personality as she asked Wang Shen Ze in a shy and coquettish
manner, “Shen, you didn’t tell me that you are already married, I feel so hurt by this.”

“I thought this house is ours, but now that you brought your wife back, maybe I should move out?”
Hong Xin Rui looked at Wang Shen Ze with an aggrieved face.

“I’m sorry, I should have told you about this earlier”, Wang Shen Ze replied her with an apologetic tone.

He soon added in a doting manner, “You don’t have to worry about her. She is just merely my wife in
name. This house is still yours, you can do whatever you want and no one will stop you.”

Hong Xin Rui was secretly overjoyed in her heart but she still maintained a troubled expression as she
probed further, “Then in this case... where will she be sleeping at?”

It is not like the villa is lacking of any vacant rooms. However, there are only two bedrooms on the
highest floor of the villa which currently belongs to Wang Shen Ze and Hong Xin Rui.

She wanted to know Wang Shen Ze’s intentions on this matter and decided to ask him this question on
purpose.

After all, she still wanted him for herself and she definitely would not allow Lin Wen Xin to share a room
with him.

She soon heard Wang Shen Ze’s decisive response, “She will be sleeping in the basement.”

Wang Shen Ze immediately turned to the servants who are standing at the side and ordered them to
bring Lin Wen Xin’s luggage downstairs.



Even though the basement has one guest bedroom, this level is known to be for the servants at home
as their rooms are situated there as well.

There are so many other rooms on the lower floors of the villa but he just had to assign the guest room
at the basement for her?

Hong Xin Rui couldn’t help but smirk as she lifted one of her eyebrow and looked at Lin Wen Xin with a
provocative look.

Of course, Wang Shen Ze did not manage to catch this scene as he was staring coldly at Lin Wen Xin
at this point of time.

Lin Wen Xin understood her situation well enough and did not dare to make any demands.

She could only silently bite her lips as she followed the servants down to the basement.

As soon as Lin Wen Xin opened the door of her bedroom, a clean and elegant room appeared in front
of her.

Her room at the basement is surprisingly better than what she had expected!

Even though there are no windows, the ensuite room is relatively huge enough for her to put some of
her fashion equipment inside.

Lin Wen Xin is in fact very appreciative of having this room as she had previously envisioned a room
that was a hundred times worse than this.

She then sat down on the floor and opened her luggage as she began to unpack.

“Ring ring...”

Lin Wen Xin looked over to her phone and quickly accepted the video call from Xiao Yu Meng.



“Wen Xin! How are you settling down in your new house so far?” Xiao Yu Meng is currently running on
the treadmill while video calling her.

Lin Wen Xin is also busy organising her things as she replied, “I reached here not long ago and I just
started unpacking.”

“Look at the mess here!” Lin Wen Xin showed the huge pile of clothing that are in front her.

She then switched to the front view camera and looked at Xiao Yu Meng as she said seriously, “I think I
will have to stay up till midnight to finish packing all of these...”

Xiao Yu Meng couldn’t help but laughed at her.

“I see that your room is quite nice! But don’t let him take advantage of you, he doesn’t deserve it!”

Lin Wen Xin chuckled as she replied, “We are not living in the same room. I’m living alone here.”

“What? Living alone?” Xiao Yu Meng stopped her treadmill as she asked.

“Yes, you heard it right. But this arrangement is good as well! I have the whole room to myself and look,
I can use the empty spaces to put my design equipment.”

“What do you think? Do you want to shop with me for it?”

Lin Wen Xin then continued to chat with Xiao Yu Meng and managed to resume packing only after she
ended the call.

Soon, it was time for dinner and when Lin Wen Xin reached the dining hall, she saw that Wang Shen
Ze and Hong Xin Rui were already sitting there.

It is the first time that Wang Shen Ze is sitting down for a proper meal with Hong Xin Rui.



Previously when he passed her the bank card at home, he barely ate and left quickly after the meal. He
has never visited her again since then.

Lin Wen Xin thought that they were waiting for her since the dishes have already been placed on the
table and they have not started eating yet.

It is definitely not polite to make people wait for her, so she apologised to them, “I’m sorry, I’m late for
dinner.”

Since Hong Xin Rui is sitting on the left side of Wang Shen Ze, it made sense for Lin Wen Xin to sit on
his right side, which is the seat directly opposite Hong Xin Rui.

She pulled out the chair and quickly sat on it, only to hear a cold voice resounding throughout the entire
dining hall, “Did I say that you can sit down?”
