Chapter 36 - Will This Be Okay?

Lin Wen Xin questioned Yi Fan in disbelief.

After receiving a clear confirmation from him, she let out a short scream of excitement!

She wore a joyous look and without a care in the world, she quickly dashed over to Wang Shen Ze’s
bedroom, which was just across the room that she was in.

This is incredible!!

How is it actually possible? And why did he suddenly change his decision?

Lin Wen Xin’s state of mind is currently in a huge mess that she did not even realised she had entered
his bedroom without knocking.

Thankfully this time Wang Shen Ze was already dressed up properly. But he still turned around in
shock, and even more so when he saw Lin Wen Xin running towards him!

“!!...”

Before he could even open his mouth to speak, Lin Wen Xin had already threw him a big hug and did
not let go!

She sniffled as she spoke to him, “Thank you... thank you for letting me keep the studio! I really wanted
it so badly and I never thought that I will ever have such an opportunity again!”

Lin Wen Xin went on and on, while Wang Shen Ze was completely dumbfounded by her huge reaction.

Isn’t it just a studio? Is it necessary to react like this?

However, he still could not deny that Lin Wen Xin had made him feel good for keeping the studio for
her.



He struggled in her arms a little but he still could not get away from her tight embrace. His hands were
left hanging awkwardly in mid-air.

Seeing that she was still crying and conveniently wiping her tears on his clean shirt, Wang Shen Ze
accommodated to her by patting on her back lightly.

Seems like he has to change his outfit again for work later...

And thankfully Lin Wen Xin had taken Wang Shen Ze’s car today, otherwise she would definitely be late
for work!

The good thing about taking your boss’ car is that - even if you are late, you would never really be
considered as late!

Several days have passed and Lin Wen Xin had spent her time at the office completing the sample
pieces for the project.

Sister Fei Yi had also been consistently updated on Lin Wen Xin’s progress through video calls.

Every designer in the team has to submit their finalised samples to their client, DT Holdings, in today’s
meeting for revision work.

As Wang Shen Ze was unable to make it today, the meeting is temporarily hosted by their company’s
Head of Directors, Director Wu.

Director Wu looked through all the samples and coincidentally picked out one of Lin Wen Xin’s designs
from the pile of clothing.



“I know that the material is waterproof, but certain parts of the design seems to allow water to seep
through. Have you all tested it before showing them to us?”

The entire team, including Lin Wen Xin, were momentarily stunned by his question. And the fact is that
they really did not test them out prior to this meeting.

Since it is their first time designing waterproof sportswear, it has never once occurred to them that they
should test out their clothing as they had never conducted a testing phase for any their samples before.

Lin Wen Xin felt that it was completely reasonable for Director Wu to ask that question because if the
sportswear are marketed as waterproof when they are not truly the case, it could cause potential
damages on DT Holdings’ and Lin Corporation’s reputation.

After the meeting has ended, Sister Fei Yi had pointed out the designs that needed revisions and gave
the team another deadline for it.

It is really never too late to make the amendments now, than to heavily regret it in the future.

Since the deadline this time is really tight, Lin Wen Xin worked very hard in the next two days to make
the necessary adjustments.

Wang Shen Ze is out as a guest speaker in a prestigious international seminar. He would not be
coming back to the office so Lin Wen Xin is very much on her own today.

It is said in the weather forecast that it would rain tonight, so she better head home early to prepare for
it!

As soon as she got home, she changed into the sports attire that she has designed and took some
small bites while waiting for the rain to come.

In just less than an hour, the rain started to pour heavily.



Lin Wen Xin stood still behind the glass door that would lead her out to the swimming pool’s deck.

She looked outside and asked herself worriedly, “Will this be okay??”

She then took a deep breath and walked out to the open deck.

It is so cold and she is shivering non-stop!! But she still had to test all her clothing no matter what.

It was not like it would definitely rain every night so she had to grab hold of this good opportunity today!

She found herself a cosy corner at the side and sat down to wait for the timer to run out.

After every beeping sound, she would run into the house and check if her clothes beneath the
sportswear are dry.

She would then do this consecutively and when she finally reached her last piece of clothing, she had
already caught a cold!

“Ah-choo!!...”

“It’s already the last item!! Lin Wen Xin, press on!!” She closed her eyes and silently encouraged
herself.

Meanwhile, Wang Shen Ze had just arrived home. The servants reported to him of Lin Wen Xin’s
whereabouts when he asked for it.

“On the deck?” He questioned them again as he looked at the bad weather outside.

“What is she doing over there?”



Wang Shen Ze then walked over to glass windows which provided a clear view of the swimming pool
and deck.

His eyes widened in shock as he is completely horrified by what he saw!
