Chapter 850 I Lost Control Over Myself

Prev Chapter Next Chapter

When Nicole arrived at the security room, she hesitated. She trusted Samuel and Olivia, but had to find
out the truth.

"Mrs. Green? What can I do for you?"

The security guard knew Nicole.

Nicole felt somewhat surprised.

"I want to check the video record."

"Well...."

The security guard was put in a difficult position.

"I have to get permission from my boss."

"Alright."

Nicole leaned against the wall, with the shadow in her eyes bringing about much pressure to others.

The security guard hurried to call his boss.

The boss showed up in no time, probably because of Nicole's identity.

"Mrs. Green, I'm the manager of this clubhouse. May I ask what do you want to check?"

"The video record of Room 1308 and the corridor."

Nicole spoke in a low voice.

The manager asked the security guard to get the record.

The previously deleted videos now showed up in the system, which surprised the security guard. Then
he quickly looked down.

Actually, Nicole did not pay attention to the video at all. Instead, when she said that she wanted to
check the video, she carefully examined the security guard's looks. Although the guy was calm, the
flash of panic on his face was captured by Nicole.

Even the manager was stunned.

Nicole had an idea about what was going on.

"Anything wrong? You look so nervous."

Nicole put on a wooden smile.

She had learned a lot from Samuel, especially his aura. The aura was basically similar to that of
Samuel now. The manager felt cold sweat on his forehead.

"Mrs. Green, you must be joking. I'm just a little surprised that you want to check Mr. Green."

The manager kept his head down.

"Is that so? Does this clubhouse belong to the Kent family? Or is it related to the Kent family?"

Looking at their expressions and the video, Nicole knew that Samuel had recovered the video. It was
the only explanation.

The manager frowned and said in a low voice, "No, Mrs. Green. This clubhouse has nothing to do with
the Kent family."

....

Nicole sneered. After finishing watching the video, she turned around to leave.

The manager took a deep breath and ordered, "Delete it now."

"Got it."

The security guard followed the order.

After Nicole left, the manager made a phone call.

"Miss Olivia, I had deleted the security record before but it got recovered when Mrs. Green came to
check it. It was weird. I'm sorry, Miss Olivia, I didn't get things done."

Olivia rubbed her forehead and said with exhaustion, "Never mind. I forgot that Samuel is a computer
expert."

"Then what should we do now?"

Olivia's eyes grew wet.

"You don't have to worry about it. Don't call me anymore. I'll contact you if I need your help."

After saying that, Olivia hung up the phone, took out the SIM card and flushed it down the toilet.

She ran her fingers through her hair and walked out of the bathroom.

After hearing what Olivia said, the manager heaved a sigh of relief. However, when he turned around to
leave, he was shocked to see Nicole at the door.

"Mrs. Green, why...?"

"Why am I eavesdropping?"

Nicole sneered and walked towards the manager step by step.

"Give me the number."

"What number?"

The manager was playing dumb.

Nicole said coldly, "Give me the number. I have no patience and don't want to repeat it again. Besides,
I'm pregnant. Do you think the Greens will spare you if I lose my baby or have any accident here?"

The manager got frightened by Nicole's words, and could barely stand.

"Mrs. Green, you can't do that."

"Give me the number."

Nicole's words froze the manager. However, he remembered Olivia's words, and felt at ease to give
Olivia's phone number to Nicole.

Although Nicole had guessed that Olivia might have changed her number, she couldn't help but got
shocked when she saw the unfamiliar number.

Olivia did change the number and didn't tell her!

Nicole cannot help but feel upset. Something was shattering, and got healed at the same time.

She glanced at the number and dialed out, but Olivia had turned off the phone.

Nicole didn't give up. She dialed again, but got the same response.

She knew that Olivia wouldn't answer her call.

Olivia got things to this point! It seemed that Olivia didn't plant to meet Nicole again in her lifetime.

What a silly woman!

How could she do that?

No matter what happened, Nicole would never leave Olivia alone!

Nicole called Olivia again and again, but couldn't get through. So she called Jacob instead.

"Where are you?"

"Outside the clubhouse."

Jacob had arrived.

Although Jacob didn't know what had happened, he wouldn't ignore anything related to Olivia.

Nicole hung up the phone and went to the lobby. On her way to the lobby, she was thinking about how
to tell Jacob about Olivia. When she met Jacob, she still did not figure out a way.

The marks on Jacob's neck were obvious.

Nicole recalled Jacob's words.

Although Olivia was a girl holding a clear distinction between love and hate, things wouldn't be so
intense in her first night with Jacob. In light of what had happened between them, Jacob probably had
no clue to Olivia's whereabouts.

"Do you know how Olivia will leave the Seapolis City?"

Hearing Nicole's words, Jacob felt worried.

"What happened to Olivia? Why will she leave the Seapolis City? Mrs. Green, can you tell me what
happened to her?"

Jacob became anxious.

Nicole was at a loss for words.

"Let's go upstairs first. I guess Samuel has finished the shower."

Nicole turned around and left.

Although Jacob was uneasy, he followed behind Nicole upstairs.

Samuel had finished the shower. Steve brought his clothes. After getting dressed up, Samuel sat on
the bed with a laptop in his hands, busy with something.

When Nicole and Jacob arrived, they slightly froze.

"Where did you get the laptop?"

Nicole was somewhat surprised.

Steve replied, "Mr. Green asked me to buy it, but I don't know if it fits. Mr. Green asked for a laptop with
excellent performance, so I got this one from the salesperson."

Hearing what Steve said, Nicole got an idea about what was going on.

However, she felt somewhat embarrassed. Samuel must have known what had happened to Olivia
from the security video.

After all, Olivia was Nicole's best friend. Olivia was doing this for Nicole and the Green family, yet
Nicole knew that Samuel was probably vexed. She didn't dare to say anything for fear that Jacob would

think too much.

Obviously, Samuel and Nicole thought the same.

"Mr. Green, what happened to Olivia?"

"Something has happened to her family. I'm hacking into the Hacker Alliance's system to see if I can
find any clues. Don't worry. Tell me where Olivia could be now. Olivia and her brother are the only ones
who are not together with the rest of the family members. For the sake of their safety, we need to find
them as soon as possible; otherwise, they'll be in danger."

Knowing that Samuel was worried about Olivia, Nicole was somehow relieved.

After figuring out what was going on, Jacob hurried to call Olivia, but got the same response as Nicole.
Olivia's phone remained powered off.

Jacob seemed to have thought of something and put on a dumbfounded look.

"What's wrong with you? What are you waiting for? Keep calling her!"

Seeing Jacob's looks, Samuel couldn't help but get angry. But he noticed the hickey on Jacob's neck.

His eyes narrowed.

"You had sex with Olivia?"

Samuel's voice carried a trace of coldness.

Jacob shook his head.

"No, it was Olivia who came to me. I lost control over myself."

Jacob felt embarrassed to talk about it with Samuel and Nicole. However, he didn't care about it
anymore. After he had just finished speaking, both Nicole and Samuel understood what had happened.

This was perhaps Olivia's final confession to Jacob, and her way of bidding goodbye.

Jacob wouldn't be able to find Olivia.

"Never mind. Leave it to me."

Samuel looked down and got busy with the laptop again.

As Samuel and Jacob were trying every way to look for Olivia, Nicole wanted to do something to help.
So she called Jason.

"Uncle Jason, can you help me to find a person?"

"Who is it?"

Jason hadn't heard from Nicole for a long time. Now that she called, Jason was ready to help.

"Olivia Kent. And help me to figure out what happened to the Kent family."

"Got it."

After Jason hung up the phone, he started the investigation.

Samuel did not look up but said, "Take a seat. You are not supposed to stand for a long time when
pregnant; otherwise, you will get edema."

Nicole did not realize that Samuel was talking to her in the first place. After all, she was worried about
Olivia. She subconsciously thought that what Samuel said had something to do with Olivia. When she
then figured out what Samuel was talking about, Nicole couldn't help but be surprised.

She looked at Samuel's serious face, having complicated feelings for Samuel for the first time.

Jacob was quite uneasy.

"Mr. and Mrs. Green, what can I do? I can't just wait here, can I?"

"Go to the stations, the airports and the seaports to see if you can find anything about Olivia's
whereabouts."

As soon as Samuel finished speaking, Nicole said.

"I've sent someone to do that. There's no news yet."

Jacob and Samuel were surprised.

Samuel glanced at Nicole. Nicole did not get what his glance meant. However, she said in a low voice,
"I locked down the Seapolis City in the first place. However, there was no news yet. I think Olivia is still
in the Seapolis City."

"I'll go find her. I'll find her no matter how."

Jacob's eyes turned red.

He rarely cared about and loved a person so much. Although they didn't spend much time together, the
relationship between them couldn't be measured by time. Not long ago, Olivia became his lover. How
could he lose his lover?

Jacob left. There were only Nicole and Samuel in the room. Nicole felt uncomfortable and even
depressed with the sudden silence.
