“Sorry Sir, I’m wrong. You’re on a vacation!”

Edison pleaded to Lucas hurriedly.

He had never been at an advantage when dealing with Lucas.

Lucas smiled was smug as he looked at the message “Michele” that he had texted to Edison.

It seemed that Edison was interested in Michele.

Lucas frowned as he thought of Michele’s love for him. He put down his phone.

Suddenly, he heard Yasmeen yelling downstairs.

Lucas quickly shut down his laptop and ran downstairs.

“What’s wrong?”

“I have been bullied by others in the game.”

Yasmeen frowned. When she raised her head and saw Lucas’s naked upper body, she could not help
but blush in embarrassment.

“Can’t you just put your clothes on?”

“I can wear it straight away after you wash and dry it. Didn’t I tell you that’s the only shirt I have?”

Lucas had to stay here. Nobody had expected that he would be stuck here. But now, he was delighted
as his girlfriend had taken care of him and even bought clothes for him.

“Have you bought clothes for me?”



Yasmeen suddenly felt a bit guilty.

She stuck her tongue out and said with a smile, “I have just thought of playing a match before doing
that. Then, I have forgotten it.”

Lucas reached out and patted her on the head.

“Give me your phone. I will play for you. You use my laptop to buy clothes for me.”

“Alright.”

Yasmeen gave her phone to Lucas reluctantly. Lucas did not say anything while looking at her match
statistics. He pulled her upstairs and made her sit in front of his laptop. After Yasmeen had launched
the online shopping website, he then only lay down next to her and began playing the game with her
phone.

There were a lot of clothes on the online shopping website. However, Yasmeen did not find any clothes
she liked after browsing them for a long time. She always felt that those cheap clothes did not suit
Lucas’s identity.

Lucas was unaware of Yasmeen’s thoughts. He was playing the game happily.

After an hour, Yasmeen still had not chosen anything. However, Lucas had already played about three
matches of the game.

She suddenly pushed the keyboard and snatched her phone away. Then, she put her phone down on
the table and said, “I should go out and buy them for you. I don’t like the clothes online.”

“I will accompany you.”

Lucas got up while Yasmeen followed him downstairs.



“Can you go out?”

She only recalled that Lucas had just gone out recently after asking that.

She followed him joyfully. She was hungry and looking forward to the outing.

Lucas went to the bathroom. He opened the lid of the washing machine hurriedly when he saw that the
washing machine had stopped running. However, he found that the shirt inside was just soaked with
the detergent.

The shirt did not seem to be washed?

He looked at Yasmeen who was following him behind. He said helplessly, “Did you forget to turn on the
washing machine?”

“Huh? Isn’t it fully automatic?”

“So…”

Lucas had already predicted the outcome but he still wanted to ask her.

Yasmeen said firmly, “Shouldn’t a fully automatic washing machine wash on itself? I just need to put the
clothes into it and pour some detergent. Isn’t that done?”

“How can it wash on itself if you don’t turn on the power? Do you think it’s a human being?”

Lucas sighed as he really could not expect too much from her.

Yasmeen felt slightly embarrassed.

It had been more than an hour but she had not switched on the power supply?



Did this fully automatic washing machine still need to be operated manually?

What kind of fully automatic washing machine is that?

However, she could only say this in her mind. She did not dare to say it out loud as she was afraid that
Lucas would look down on her.

It was fine. She admitted that she was an idiot in life skills.

Yasmeen only realized that she had made such a silly mistake after watching Lucas turn on the
washing machine.

She said in embarrassment while looking at Lucas’s naked upper body, “So, we can’t go out now,
right?”

“Well, I can’t go out naked, right?”

“That’s right. I will just go out and buy some clothes for you alone.”

“Stay here first. Just need to wait for roughly an hour. You go and play your game. An hour will just
pass in the blink of an eye.”

Lucas and Yasmeen went out of the bathroom. His ears were sharp as he could hear the alert sound
from his laptop.

“You play first. I need to settle some issues.”

“Alright.”

Lucas went upstairs quickly after saying that.

It was a WhatsApp message from Edison.



“Sir, I have found out clearly that the person is called Julian, but the name he used in the hotel is
Hughes.”

“Fake identity?”

“It’s not fake.”

Edison’s words made Lucas frown slightly.

“It’s not fake?”

“Well, it’s true. To be precise, Julian and Hughes are twins. He used his brother’s identification card to
check in the hotel.”

Lucas was a bit surprised when he heard Edison say that.

“Don’t twins have the same surname?”

Although Tanner and Eaton did not have the surname as his family, still at least the twin brothers had
the same surname.

Edison reported the information that he had got immediately.

“Even though Julian and Hughes are twins, still their parents get divorced when they’re very young.
Each of them raises a child, one follows the father’s surname while the other follows the mother’s
surname. After both of them grow up, Julian returns to his hometown and finds his mother and brother.
They can finally identify each other. I have also found out a very interesting thing.”

“Go ahead.”



Edison initially wanted to stop his words there. But when Lucas glared at him, he said immediately,
“Hughes and his mother had a very difficult time before. Hughes even had to work without completing
his secondary school but his salary wasn’t that high. After Julian had come back, he gave them some
money to start off a small business. Now, they’re living a good life. Hughes treats his brother like a
millionaire but Julian rarely comes back. Every time he comes back, he would use Hughes’s identity.
I’m not sure why.”

Lucas thought of the conversation he had overheard between Penny and Julian. He said hurriedly,
“Can you find out where Penny’s hometown is?”

“Speaking of this, it is so coincident that Penny’s hometown is the same as Hughes’s.”

Edison’s words finally cleared Lucas’s doubts.

It turned out they had met before because Julian and Penny came from the same place when he
returned to his hometown.

“Check where Hughes was on that day when the kidnapping took place?”

Lucas felt that this matter was not that simple. He even felt that the kidnapping case had something to
do with Julian.

But now, the kidnapper still refused to confess. Meanwhile, Julian started taking action. He really felt
that this matter was not so simple.

Edison was slightly shocked when he heard Lucas’s words.

“Sir, who do you suspect? Julian or Hughes?”

“Just go and check it out. Why do you have so many questions?”



Lucas hung up the voice call. He saw Yasmeen standing at the doorway when he turned around. He
did not know how much she had heard from his conversation with Edison.

He narrowed his eyes instantly.
