Chapter 1224 It Is Not Like Him

When Samuel and Nicole were enjoying themselves in the mountains, they received the news that Fill
was stabbed. Samuel was stunned.

"Fill was stabbed? Are you sure?"

No wonder he was so surprised. Fill was swift and rarely got hurt. He would not let a person get close
to him with a knife.

Fill was always on his guard. He would notice it as soon as someone tried to approach him. How could
he get stabbed?

Samuel suddenly thought of the fake Whitney.

He frowned.

"Lock that person up. Don't ask her anything without Fill's orders."

Samuel's subordinate was surprised.

"Boss, she stabbed Fill. He's dying. And she killed Dennis. Shouldn't we take revenge on her?"

"I won't let her go. I mean—Fill will deal with it when he recovers."

Samuel did not expect so many things to happen in just a few days. He knitted his brows.

Nicole was worried about him and hurriedly held his hand, "We should go to see Fill."

"But I've promised to take photos with you."

Samuel was a little upset.

your friend. He's in danger now. You may not be in the mood to take photos with me. I've had a good

mountain.

When Samuel and Nicole arrived at Sky Group, the hall was quiet.

Lynde glanced at Nicole and stepped forward. He said angrily, "Nicole, are you going to cover for that
woman? Do you think we will forgive her?"

Just as he finished, Samuel kicked him to the ground.

Samuel looked around seriously.



"Mind your tone! She is my wife! She's not the one who stabbed Fill. What's wrong with you? I haven't

Samuel glared at Lynde as if he would kill Lynde on the spot if he retorted.

safety. But in Samuel's eyes, Lynde saw indifference and rage.

He didn't care about people who work for him, not even a bit.

Lynde wanted to retort, but he hesitated.

For the first time, he felt afraid. He didn't dare to defy Samuel.

"Boss, I was wrong."



Lynde hurriedly lowered his head and sweat welled up on his forehead.

Nicole felt that Samuel was a bit strange.

Why was he so angry?

Nicole wanted to say something, but Samuel said coldly to people, "I warn you, if you have any

"Lynde, take Nicole to the dungeon."

Samuel knew that Nicole wanted to see Ysabel.

I've sent for Blair and he is on the way. He may save Fill even if death comes."

respect.



Fill was their leader and they refused to accept Samuel, but they felt grateful because Samuel
managed to send for Blair.

If Blair could save Fill, they would recognize Samuel as their boss for the rest of their lives.

Samuel also knew that these people hadn't accept him. After all, it was Fill who had been leading them
all these years, and Samuel just provided money and didn't show up.

Samuel and Fill trusted each other, but these people didn't identify with him.

Samuel knew it, but he felt that it didn't matter. He could even give the Sky Group to Fill. To his
surprise, Samuel just noticed that the way people looked at him had changed.

He sighed in his heart.

It had been nine years and Fill had finally gained some support from his subordinates.

And it was good to Fill.

Seeing that Samuel still had something to say to them, Nicole left with Lynde.

"How is Ysabel?"

quite like Whitney. Nicole wondered whether she would feel guilty after she stabbed Fill.

Ysabel had got herself into a big trouble.

If she stopped after she killed Dennis, Fill might help her to get away. However, she also hurt Fill. Who
