Chapter 1192 What If I Don't Agree?

Hearing Morgan's words, Joseph did not say anything. After hanging up the phone call, he came to
Nicole.

Nicole was still rubbing Samuel's hands to warm them up, but no matter how hard she rubbed, Samuel
didn't get warmer at all, as if he was frozen.

"Mommy, she said she would be here soon. I'll wait outside."

Joseph's eyes were filled with tears.

He couldn't see this. It would remind him of his father.

The man who pretended to be Vincent.

The guy took Joseph as his real son sometimes, especially when he was dying.

Joseph had mixed feelings about that.

He couldn't leave his family in trouble anymore. As long as he could protect his family, he would do
whatever it took.

He could feel Morgan's anger and misery in her voice, but he was too anxious to care about her
feelings.

Joseph knew that people might think he was threatening Morgan, but he didn't care. He only hoped
that there would be no fewer people in his family.

Before Nicole could say something, Joseph got up and went out.

Nicole looked at Joseph's back and felt sorry for this child. She always thought that Joseph had put too
much blame on himself, though he didn't need to do so.

She was afraid that Joseph would get over-tired, but now she didn't know how to comfort him.

Since Joseph left, now there were only Samuel and Nicole in the room.

Nicole was still rubbing Samuel's hands. She didn't feel panicked, but more at ease.

Even if the road ahead was paved with thorns, she would follow him without any regrets.

Nicole turned up the heat in the room.

She could feel the heat on her face, and she was sweaty. However, Samuel was still cold. She was
immediately struck with sadness.

Morgan came soon. Nicole didn't know if she lived nearby or if she took a taxi. She was too exhausted
to think about those things.

When Joseph saw Morgan, he was calm and called her "Master".

Lucas was somewhat surprised, and his face was somber.

Lucas knew that Joseph had doubts about Morgan, but now Joseph asked Morgan to come here, so
Samuel must be in a bad condition.

Something suddenly occurred to Lucas and he said, "Joseph, where is my ring?"

When Lucas took the ring from Zama, he didn't know what was special about it. Lucas gave the ring to
Trevin when he looked for the ancient book in the Harper Town. Trevin and Nicole beguiled people into
believing that Trevin betrayed Nicole, and the ring was lost.

However, no one knew that Joseph had this ring now.

How did Joseph get the ring? Lucas was the only one who knew what happened. It was Trevin who
asked someone to give the ring to Joseph.

Joseph was Morgan's disciple and Lucas' brother, and Morgan was from the Harper Town, so Lucas
thought that Joseph was the right person to keep the ring.

After Joseph took the ring from Trevin, he gave it back to Lucas. But Lucas was too lazy to put it away
at that time, so he asked Joseph to help him keep it.

Now Morgan came here. Although Lucas didn't know what this ring meant to Zama, he thought that it
was not an ordinary ring since Zama took it as a family heirloom and gave it to Lucas before she died.

Other people might not be able to see what was special about the ring, but Morgan, who was from the
Harper Town, might be able to figure it out.

Lucas was not sure about this, but he would like to take his chances.

Anyway, he had to ensure the safety of Samuel first.

Joseph did not know that Lucas thought a lot of at this moment, but when Lucas mentioned the ring,
Joseph's only thought was that since the ring was from the Harper Town, it might be useful to Samuel.
Maybe the poison was carried by the ring?

But it seemed that Samuel never touched this ring before.

Joseph was puzzled, but he still took out the ring from his pocket and gave it to Lucas in front of
Morgan.

"It's here."

When Morgan saw the ring, her pupils suddenly contracted, but her face fast recovered its customary
expression.

"This ring..."

"My grandmother left it to my daddy before she died, but I really liked it, so daddy gave it to me. What's
wrong?"

Lucas did not say that the ring was for him, but for Samuel. Hearing his words, Morgan was deep in
thought.

"Where is he?"

Morgan asked urgently at this moment.

Although Joseph did not know whether the ring was useful, he now understood why Lucas mentioned
the ring on purpose.

Now that they got what they wanted, they didn't think about why Morgan was anxious.

"This way."

Joseph hurriedly led Morgan to Samuel's room.

Mr. Shaw remained silent in a corner of the living room. Nobody noticed him. Now he seemed to go into
deep thought.

"Steve, what is wrong with Samuel?"

"The neuralgia happened again. Mr. Joseph is Morgan's disciple. Perhaps she came here to see Mr.
Green. After all, the disease is quite torturous."

Samuel's disease was not a secret at home.

Although Edwin felt that something was wrong, Steve's words sounded reasonable. He just frowned
and said, "Ask someone to cook some stew. It can help the flow of energy and build strength. The
symptom of neuralgia can be might or severe. If Morgan really cures Samuel, we need to repay her
kindness."

"Yes, Mr. Shaw."

Steve went out to do his errands.

Mr. Shaw sighed and talked to himself, "Things still don't go well even in the New Year."

He shook his head and went back to his room.

After Morgan came upstairs with Joseph, she opened the door of Samuel's room and a heat struck at
her face.

Nicole's entire body was drenched in sweat, but Samuel, lying on the bed, was cold with a sallow face.
It looked like he was poisoned at first glance, but Morgan's expression instantly changed.

Nicole heard the creaking of the door, so she turned around and saw Morgan and Joseph. She moved
aside a little, making way for them to see Samuel.

"Please, Satan King."

The sincerity in Nicole's voice shocked Morgan.

'Didn't Sally come back to see Nicole?'

'How is that possible?'

The news she got was not fake.

But now Nicole trusted Morgan and asked her to save Samuel, so Morgan's guess must be correct. No
one was more important than Samuel for Nicole.

Looking at Samuel, Morgan's face changed. She said in a low voice, "I need to treat him alone. You all
should go out and turn off the surveillance cameras. Nicole, I know that you have doubts about me and
even don't trust me, but now you can do nothing else."

Nicole put on a cold face and gaze at Morgan with piercing eyes.

"Are you sure you can save him?"

"Yes."

"What are his chances of surviving?"

"Ninety percent."

Hearing what Morgan said, Nicole finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Alright. I promise you that you will get whatever you want as long as you save him."

Nicole offered Morgan a nice deal.

Morgan paused for a while and said, "What if I want to kill Sally?"

In the next second, Nicole took a dagger while no one noticed. She didn't put it at Morgan's throat, but
at her own throat.

"Mommy!"

Joseph was so scared that his face turned pale. Morgan was also stunned.

"Nicole, what are you doing?"

Nicole said coldly, "If you save Samuel today, the Green family and I will repay your kindness. I can
grant all your requests if you agree not to hurt my family."

"What if I don't' agree?"

Morgan understood the meaning behind Nicole's words.

Nicole said so to protect Sally!

Morgan was confused and surprised.

As far as she knew, Sally was not close to Nicole. Nicole was even nothing more than a stranger for
Sally before Sally returned to the Seapolis City.

Even when Zayn was around, Nicole did not have much enthusiasm about establishing a close
relationship with Sally. But now Nicole was protecting Sally.

Why?

Morgan didn't know what happened between them changed their relationship.

Now Nicole even took Sally as a family member.

Nicole was a woman who cared about her family.

If she wanted to protect Sally, it was difficult for Morgan to kill her.

Thinking of her mission, Morgan frowned.

Nicole seemed to have known that Morgan would say that. She sneered, "Everyone outside saw you
here today, including my people, the Shaws, the Greens and the Dons. If you didn't cure Samuel, I
would kill myself in front of you. Do you think you can leave the Seapolis City alive if you offend three
families at the same time? I know that you have strong hatred for these three families, but how could a
dead person seek revenge on them? What do you think?"

Morgan suddenly trembled.

She could tell from Nicole's eyes that Nicole took it seriously.

In other words, Nicole had made a decision that she would die with Samuel if he died!

If Morgan could go down with them, this deal would be quite a good bargain.

'They all threaten me!'

'Do they really think that they can push me around?'

Just as Morgan was about to lose her temper, she suddenly saw Joseph run into Nicole's arms and cry
like a four-year-old child.

"Mommy, you can't die. What should I do if you die? What about Lucas and Zoe? Don't leave me
behind! Mommy!"

Joseph cried so bitterly that Nicole's eyes were filled with tears. Even Morgan felt her heart was
broken.

"Don't worry, your mommy won't die. Stop crying. It's too noisy. Take your mommy out. You can't come
in without my permission. Are you clear?"

Hearing Morgan's words, Nicole and Joseph were in surprise.

Joseph looked straight at Morgan with her watery eyes. Her gratitude and trust made Morgan feel
moved.

'The brat knows what my weakness is.'
