“Do you want to bear a daughter for me?” Lucas asked instead of answering her.

Yasmeen blushed more.

Looking at her adorable face, Lucas wondered about her health condition once she was pregnant.

“Yasmeen,” he called her name.

“Ehn?”

Yasmeen was taken aback for a bit and looked up at him, only to find a trance of tenderness and
concern in his eyes. She asked, “What’s wrong?”

“You should have a checkup.”

Yasmeen’s heart skipped a beat.

She wondered if he had known something.

“Why?”

“For our marriage registration.”

Lucas said naturally, “As you know, my residential record hasn’t been transferred yet. I also need to
submit a report to apply for getting married. Your health check report is also required then.”

“I see.”

Yasmeen breathed a sigh of relief, feeling sweet and worried.

She wondered if Lucas would find something once she went through the checkup.



Suddenly, she said, “I have my private doctor. I can ask him to do it for me.”

“Don’t you want me to accompany you?”

Lucas’s tone was a bit sinking.

“Of course I want you,” Yasmeen immediately denied it.

She wanted him to accompany her.

However, thinking that Lucas might find out her health condition if he went with her, Yasmeen was a bit

When she didn’t know how to explain, Lucas suddenly said with a smile, “Well, you can go have a
checkup yourself. Michele’s condition is still unknown. I called my brother, and he will arrive tomorrow.
I’ll take a look at her examination report. Be careful when you are going to your private hospital.”

“Okay. I will.”

Yasmeen nodded.

“Aren’t you angry?” Lucas asked.

Yasmeen was taken aback.

Suddenly, she realized that she might have focused on covering her health condition but forgotten a
woman’s primary reaction.

Michele was her rival in love.

Thinking of that, Yasmeen whispered, “I trust you. Since you’ve chosen me, you will be loyal to me. You
can’t sit and watch the Hill family in trouble without doing anything. I understand you.”



“Thank you, Yasmeen.”

Lucas reached out to rub her hair as if he deliberately messed it up.

Yasmeen was speechless.

“Lucas, have you got your kicks from messing my hair?”

“Ehn,” Lucas answered like a kid. Yasmeen couldn’t find a proper word to speak.

What kind of hobby was this?

However, she didn’t stop him. Anyway, her hair was smooth. It would return to the ordinary no matter
how messy it was.

Lucas stopped teasing her after seeing her ignore him. Taking her hand, he asked, “What fruits are
your favorite?”

“What?”

Yasmeen was taken aback again.

“Why are you asking so?”

“I’ll buy some fruits for Michele. Uncle Morty is always nice to me, and Michele is like my younger
sister. I can’t go see her with empty hands. My father always reminds me to be polite.”

Lucas laughed.

Yasmeen whispered, “Just go ahead to buy them. Why do you ask me about my favorite fruits?”

“Silly girl.”



Lucas flicked on her forehead and said, “It’s my kindness and politeness to buy some for Michele, but I
should buy some for you. You are my girlfriend.”

Yasmeen curled up her lips into a smile.

“I’m not picky. I’ll eat whatever you buy.”

Lucas was amused by her answer, laughing out.

“I’m not afraid if you are picky. Tell me. What do you like?”

“What about strawberry?”

This season was the best season for eating strawberries. Thinking about the sweetness, Yasmeen
couldn’t help drooling.

Lucas nodded and slapped her across her bottom. “Now, go ahead with your checkup.”

“You!”

Yasmeen had never expected that Lucas would act so frivolously. She blushed and cast a shy glance
at Lucas, making his heart fluctuate.

“Hurry up. Or I won’t let you go.”

Lucas’s eyes were twinkling with desire. Yasmeen turned around and trotted away in fear.

“Behave yourself. Wait for me to come back,” Yasmeen paused and warned Lucas in a fierce tone.

Her expression looked like a coquettish kitten, quite lovely.

“Ehn,” Lucas answered.



Receiving his answer, Yasmeen trotted out fast.

Lucas put away his smile. Then he pulled out his phone and called Yasmeen’s chief physician.

“Hello. This is Lucas Green.”

The doctor was taken aback, but he knew Lucas was Princess Yasmeen’s beloved man, so he was
quite respectful.

“Hello, Mr. Green. What can I do for you?”

“Yasmeen will go to your hospital for a checkup. Please keep some of her samples for me. I’m gonna
find her a suitable renal source.”

The doctor, Brent, was surprised when hearing it.

“Has Princess Yasmeen told you everything?”

“If she told me, why would I call you?”

Lucas thought Brent was quite stupid.

If it weren’t that Joseph had told him Brent was his senior, Lucas wouldn’t have called him.

Yasmeen wanted to hide the truth from him, so she would ask someone that she knew to have the
checkup. Brent was the best choice for her.

Lucas and Joseph wanted to look for a suitable renal source for Yasmeen, so they needed her sample.
It needed to be done urgently.

Upon hearing Lucas’s words, Brent rubbed his nose in depression.



Just now, his talented junior, Joseph, had called him, informing him the same thing.

Joseph’s achievements in the medical field were identified, so Brent would like to help him as much as
possible. Right then, Joseph had given him such a chance, so Brent wouldn’t say no.

“Of course, I can do it. But we must keep it secret from Princess Yasmeen.”

“Do you think I’m as stupid as you?”

After finishing his words, Lucas hung up the phone. Brent felt more depressed.

Besides, Yasmeen had risked her life for him. So Lucas believed that she just wanted to hide it from
him instead of others.

She had done so many things for him. Lucas wanted to tell everyone about it, especially Nicole. In this
case, the Green family would cherish Yasmeen more.

Thinking of that, Lucas called Nicole and Samuel, telling them about Ashley’s renal donation.

There was an uproar in the Green family.

“Lucas, how can you hide this matter from us? Are you asking for trouble? With Yasmeen’s health
condition, how can you take her everywhere? You’d better send her back now!”



Nicole blew up instantly.

She knew the renal donation clearly. All through the years, she had to be quite careful with Samuel’s
food. He needed to take medicine and have checkups regularly. Samuel was taken good care of.

Thinking that Yasmeen had done it for Lucas, Nicole suddenly felt sorry for her and wanted to shed
