Chapter 1602 A Letter of Challenge

Olivia was driving on the highway and thinking fast.

She was surprised that Tony was actually looking for Davon. But he was Nicole’s cousin and they were
pretty close, which was a big problem to her.

This was bugging her.

How did Tony know her relationship with Nicole and Nicole’s relationship with Davon?

She remembered that Nicole and Samuel were quarantined and investigated for more than a year.
Olivia didn’t know why but she heard that the son of the Don family was dead. How did he come back
to life? But the Don family didn’t make a move, which meant that his revival was a secret. And she
remembered that his name used to be Davon Sawyer.

So, if Tony could find such a big secret, he must have a powerful background.

She started to frown.

This was big deal and she couldn’t pretend that she didn’t know.

Thinking that, Olivia drove back to the palace. She didn’t get stopped because the car belonged to the
Royal family.

She went to Davon’s lab but didn’t see Davon so she went back. On the way, she saw Davon and
Phoenix. They were smiling and seemed to be a lovely couple, which reminded Olivia of how sweet
Olivia and Jacob’s marriage used to be.

How could a wonderful man change like that?

Olivia was sorrowful but she still came towards Davon.



“Mr. Davon, can we talk for a minute?”

Phoenix glanced at Olivia, looking surprised.

She knew who Olivia was but they were not close. She knew Olivia was Nicole’s best friend and she
saw her once when Nicole was giving birth. How could she become so weak and tired in such a short
time?

Phoenix asked worriedly, “Miss Olivia, are you doing well?”

“I’m alright. Thanks for asking. Can I talk to your husband for a while? Is that okay?”

“Of course.”

Phoenix trusted him very much.

Olivia used to trust Jacob like that. But their marriage still didn’t end up well. She was embarrassed to
be here.

Davon noticed Olivia’s difference and said quietly, “She needs special treatment. You also need to take
some medicine, okay? I’ll have the maid send it to you.”

“I still have to take that?”

“Yes.”

Davon flicked her forehead and chuckled, “I got some work that need to be done. Don’t miss me too
much.”

“Get lost.”

Phoenix giggled and pushed Davon away.



“Let’s go.”

On their way to the lab, they ran up to Nicole.

Nicole was shocked to see them together.

“Davon? Olivia? Where are you going?”

“She needs a physical check.”

Davon’s words made Nicole worried a lot.

“I thought the poison isn’t harmful to her body.”

“But we still need to know the components.”

“I still have some medicine that I haven’t taken yet.”

Olivia grabbed a small bottle form her pocket.

Nicole was astonished that she carried the medicine with her.

“Don’t take it anymore.”

Nicole wanted to take it from her but Davon did it first.

He sniffed the bottle and started to think.

Seeing that, Olivia asked, “Do you know what this is, Mr. Davon?”

“Yes. The Thompson family gave you this?”

“The Thompson family?”



Nicole was confused. She thought of that Tony she knew a while ago. His last name was Thompson.

Does he have something to do with this?

Tony was a producer so it was not surprising that Olivia knew him. But he never seemed to be so
interested in Olivia according to her words.

Just as she was still doubtful about this, Olivia nodded, “Yeah, Tony gave me that.”

Nicole froze.

“It’s really him?”

“Wait till we get to the lab.”

Looking at the crowded passage, Davon said that coldly as if he was not surprised at Tony at all.

Nicole and Olivia went to Davon’s lab together.

“Where’s Laurence?”

Nicole hadn’t seen Laurence after she came back and she still didn’t find him in the lab. She wanted to
ask where he was last time but she was busy worrying about Olivia.

Davon said calmly, “He’s been weak and has been transferred to another hospital. I can take you to
see him later.”

“Me? Seeing Laurence?”

Olivia was puzzled.

Nicole told her about the relationship between Laurence and the Kent family.



Olivia was amazed.

“He’s my cousin?”

“Yeah, my father told me that. It can’t be wrong.”

A lot of things happened during these two years and Nicole didn’t have time to tell Olivia.

Olivia was moved. She thought there were only her brother and her left in the Kent family. And now she
had a cousin. Her uncle did a lot for Nicole’s father, which was why Nicole knew her. It was natural that
she supported Olivia financially so she could go to the college.

Fate was indeed a mysterious thing.

Olivia came to her senses and said in a low voice, “Tony is in Country F now. His goal was to use me to
find Mr. Davon. I don’t know the relationship between Mr. Davon and the Thompson family. But this
happened because of me and I have the responsibility to tell you this. He also knows that Mr. Davon
and Nicole are cousins and what Mr. Davon did when we were in the grave. I didn’t tell anyone else
about this and how could he know?”

Hearing that, Nicole became nervous.

They tried very hard to hide Davon’s identity from the outside. Now someone else knows about this.
Does it mean that the authorities knew about this?

Nicole grabbed Davon’s hand and said, “Davon, we need to tell Samuel and my brother about this.”

“Don’t panic. Tony won’t tell on me.”

Davon seemed to be calm.



Nicole was agitated.

“He must do that with a purpose. Whatever that is, it concerns you. We can’t let it happen.”

Davon was happy that Nicole was being protective.

“You really care about me, Nicole.”

“Stop joking, just think of something that can solve this problem!”

“What? He was too naive to set me up. And this is not a trap. It’s a challenge. This medicine is kind of
like a letter of challenge.”

Hearing that, Nicole and Olivia all froze.

“A letter of challenge?”

Davon nodded.

“Let me put it this way, he lured Olivia to test out the medicine for him. Even though this drug doesn’t
do much harm to her, it still has a risk, a poisonous component which could cure the inflammation of
uterus. Though that component is not deadly, this can do great harm to woman sometimes. I’m your
cousin so I won’t ignore her physical conditions. I will try my best to solve this problem. But he didn’t
know that Olivia has inflammation of uterus and that component can help ease the symptoms.
Otherwise, she would have been in great pain.

Olivia became furious after hearing what he said.

So Tony regarded Olivia’s body as a battlefield? If Davon couldn’t solve this, she would suffer a lot.

And she was even a little grateful to him before, but now…



He would regret for what he did.
