and Mr. Collins worked on was the one that Mr. Collins selected after she made the changes. Although
he did it for Miss White‘s sake, Mr. Collins preferred the proposal in the first place.”

While they were talking, Gloria and Sheila arrived at Helen‘s office.

Sheila gave Gloria a look. She encouraged Gloria and smiled before knocking gently on the door.

That project required Jonathan to invest hundreds of billions of dollars. Any smart person would know
that Jonathan was not the kind of person who would make impulsive decisions.

So, the proposal must be profitable, and Gloria was indeed capable.

Gloria didn‘t say anything. Then Sheila nodded and said, “Yes. But Mr. Brown has a condition.”

“What condition?”



Sheila coughed lightly and said, “Gloria altered the original proposal. And Gloria modified the proposal.
She refined the proposal based on the original one. And it makes sense. And Mr. Brown liked that
proposal, so he asked Gloria to be in charge of the project.”

Helen looked at Gloria with surprise and said, “I need to see the proposal now.”

Gloria immediately handed her the folder in her hand and said, “Here it is.”

Helen took it and immediately read it over. The more she looked at it, the more shocked she became.
There was a look of disbelief in her eyes. The next moment, she said, “I can‘t make a decision either. I
need to take you to talk to Miss White.”

Gloria nodded and said, “Thank you, Miss Johnson.”

Helen got up. She didn’t like to exchange pleasantries either and said, “Let‘s go. We‘ll go to see her
now.”
